This spell creates a ball of fire that originates from the caster and rolls in caster's desired direction.  The ball leaves a fiery trail where it has been which inflicts damage throughout the duration of the spell.  The Caster has a base 25% chance + 5% per level of controlling direction changes.  The ball inflicts damage of 1d6 x 10 and the trail that it leaves inflicts 1d6 per level.

 

This spell is named in honor of Col. "Pappy" a veteran whom my best friend and I met at Harry S. Truman memorial Veteran's Hospital in Columbia, MO.
