22/05/01   Sorry for the lack of updates... but what can I say? I've been busy. I doubt anyone even reads this shit anyway. A lot has happened in the last month. We recorded a budget demo at a crack house in Gret Lynn... turned out to be not so great. So we are going to do another at a later date. We will be making and giving it away for free, so woohoo, look forward to it. James has organised some kick ass shows for next month. We've got the Kiss Before Dying farewell show at Pizza Pizza on the 9th of June (us, Kiss Before Dying & Misled By Lies) and then a total metal show at the Kings Arms on the 14th of June (us, Dawn of Azazel, Promise of Bloodshed & Skulldom). There is also a Punk vs Metal show in the pipeline for sometime in July. If anyone wants hooking up with a show in the near future, give us an email. Our practice room has shut down temporarily but luckily we've managed to get a session at Featherstone and so we should be playing a new song at the next show(s). By the way, go out and buy NILE's new album Black Seeds of Vengance right now, fucking awesome shit.
19/04/01   Shutdown last night were fucking awesome, one of the tightest, most polished bands i've seen in a long time. Thanks to them for coming to New Zealand,  and big thanxxx to Dave for hooking us up yet again. For all of those who didn't see us play, thank god, because we we're fucking awful.
30/03/01   We wrote music for a new song at practice last night, Turncoats, even though Jez went MIA (where were you, you pommy bastard?)and I (Ben) had to sing it.  We think its our best song yet, plenty of old school metal riffs (keeping it real) and awesome breakdowns. It only took about an hour including lyric arrangement and shit, so we're pretty pleased. We're gonna open with it at our next show (should be a SHUTDOWN show I hope) so make sure your there!
26/03/01   Word up. The One King Down show at the Kings Arms went pretty well. Thanxxx to Dave for hooking us up and One King Down for coming. Trajan had finally fixed the SG but it fucking broke during sound check. So he played with the clamp on the neck. All good. I felt like shit cause my jaws infected so I was pretty unenergetic, but I think we sounded alright. Rumour has it that we'll get to play a show with Shutdown when they come (fucking sweet). Check out all the lovely photos of us at the One King Down show (cheers Philly). they can be found at the photos page, funnily enough.
14/03/01   The show at Waitakere College is off. The one day that Jez can get off work is a bloody teachers only day. Typical. The One King Down shows are upon us, hopefully we'll get to play the Ellen Mellville show, because I've heard there will be no more shows there after this one. Its a shame because its a good venue. We recorded a ROUGH demo yesterday at practice on a 4 track, and it was mixed by none other than Trajan. We also FINALLY took some photos, so they'll be up here either today or tomorrow.
07/03/01   We didn't end up playing at Mount Albert Grammmer, but James is talking his old principle into letting us do a benefit show for SAFE at his old school (Waitakere). Hopefully this one will work out. Also, we're planning on doing a 4 track demo on Tuesday at practice. We are going to mix it ourselves, so it'll be pretty rough, but it's all we can afford at the moment (its free).
27/02/01   Richie's birthday went pretty well. We we're a bit rough but we hadn't practied in ages. We got it taped, so we might be able to get some footage on here. Jez has got lyrics for 2 new songs, and i've (Ben) got 1, so we're gonna write a few new songs this Friday. Hopefully we'll get a show before this One King Down one. Cheers again to Richie for letting us play.
