Craig Nelso and Joe Sarnicola co-record 8 songs  for the CBS TV show "That's Life."
As a co-recording effort between Craig Nelson and Joe Sarnicola of Taste and Joel Ferguson and Scott Stefanski of Miles to Mars, eight songs have been recorded for use on the CBS TV show "That's Life."  All eight songs were written by The Verve Pipe's Brian Vander Ark and recorded by Nelson, Sarnicola, Ferguson and Stefanski for the show.

In late 2000, CBS approached Brian Vander Ark about submitting several songs for the television series.  Shortly there after, Vander Ark hired Nelson, Sarnicola, Ferguson and Stefanski to recorde the material.

Craig Nelson of Taste, "Yeah it's true, primetime drama and Rock N Roll meet once again!  When we went in to the studio to do the songs for the show we just rocked em out."  As Nelson explains, while recording in the studio, all four musicians helped shape the sound of each song.  "The finished product sounded nothing like the original demos, which were much more subdued.  CBS wanted more of a John Mellencamp type of thing, but we turned them on to the edgy stuff instead.  It was a lot of fun."

As of now, CBS has announced that they want to purchase all 8 songs for the show, but there are several other songwriters involved, and nothing is definite.  All the material recorded has been submitted as background music for various bar and social scenes, and if used, can be heard periodically throughout the season.
