Ecology: Grasslands and Desert. Carnivores. Society: Rerzals are solitary creatures, pairing together once a year during the spring mating season and during child birth when the male will raise and care for the male child while the adult female will raise the child if its female. Children are sent out on their own after their 10th year. Outside of mating season, Rerzal will not awknowledge each other beyond polite words. The single exception to this is if a healthy Rerzal finds an injured one. The injured Rerzal will either ask to be protected or killed depending on how crippled his injury leaves him. It is considered dishonorable to be Gora (sheltered) for a long period of time. Physiology: Rerzals are feline in nature. They stand upright but will travel on all four limbs when travelling long distances. They usually have a light blond fur with black or brown stripes. They have sharp teeth and claws, which they use when in combat. Their hands can manipulate tools, open doors, etc. but not to the precision that humans have. They choose to use their natural weapons in combat. Though the Rerzal are powerful warriors, they have little affinity towards magic and it is usually the females who are stronger in it.
