| ~ April 13th 2003 ~ Well here I go for my latest column. Not exactly sure how much information I will release to you guys this week, as there has been a bit leaked over the past week. But anyway enjoy your reading!. INJURY REPORT *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* MAVERICK As we were informed a few weeks back Maverick had several hair fractures in his knee cap, this has got worse and he hasnt attended and XAW training in two weeks. He know has the middle of his knee split in half. This means that he will most likely cancelling any intended BLOOD STAIN match.. CREEPER Creeper was suffering from more lower back pains last week and missed last Wednesdays training sessions because of it. I spoke to Creeper yesterday and he said that his back is back at 100%, but isnt going to train during the holidays just so he gives his back more of a break. Creeper is still going to be at BLOOD STAIN. BLOOD STAIN CONFIRMED NEWS We have now had it confirmed that BLOOD STAIN will be a night show and the first ever XAW night show at the Salisbury High School GYM. As you all know the date is May 9th, a Friday night. The promotion for this event will be huge compared to any other show. The bigger the turn out the more motivated the wrestlers are and put on a better show. Keep that in mind. NEW XAW WEBSITE Over the next week XAW will release its completely new website, same address (www.xawpro.cjb.net) but completely different design and not using this geocities crap. Its through Tripod. The new columnist Ben Johns made the website, and so far it looks great. Hope you all like it and it will be available soon. ERNESTO COVINO MADE MATCH Its been posted on the website and I had no-idea that he had made the match. I'm gathering that Ernesto Covino has issued an open challenge to anyone in XAW. Also another thing is that I think there will be a fight between the workers backstage as to who is the first person to have the chance to kick his ass! MATCH CANCELLED XAW was planning on booking two trainee's from the LaDz training facility in Daw Park, but apparently they have not accepted the match and did it very improper. They posted something on the message board, didnt call me or email. Anyway to my knowledge its back to the drawing board and BLOOD STAIN will now be a 5 match show. Thats why XAW didnt release anything official about the match. XAW only posts on the website matches that have been confirmed by all parties. I over head another match thats in the final stages between MOFO and Damon Matthews a return match from last years Trial By Combat. I'm still trying to get hold of Damon. SEAN TEMPEST A few people including Sean Tempest were a bit unsettled about him not being booked for BLOOD STAIN, Sean now understands why he hasnt been and for everyone else. Sean was away for two weeks in late March and was in Alice Springs for THE COLLISION and is going to Sydney tomorrow, so he will be away for another two weeks without training. So Sean hasnt been booked in a match at BLOOD STAIN and wont be. But rest assured that Sean will be Total Mayhem which is XAW"s 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! LUKE HAZARD AT BLOOD STAIN I have read and heard a few reports from fans and wrestlers all over the place that the most recent person to leave MPW, Luke Hazard would be at XAW"s BLOOD STAIN on May 9th. To be honest I did ask Luke if he would be apart of the show, but very respectfuly declined my offer. Which is fine and I understood and respected his decision. So that should clear a few things up. MEETINGS I have had a few meetings, calls and emails with people for the past few weeks. Some good outcomes and some not. Update with the band Tidal, we havnt confirmed any shows together and probably wont be much more progress in the near future. BLOOD STAIN PRE-SOLD TICKETS XAW is planing on pre-selling tickets to our next event on May 9th, Blood Stain. The tickets are $5.00 each and we hope to pre-sell the tickets. Its our first ever night show at the Salisbury High School GYM and we are not sure as to how many people are going to show up. As always we want a great big audience to make lots of noise just like our day shows. Tomorrow we are getting a PO BOX, and the tickets will go on sale. I have officialy quit the cisco IT C4 course, much to Luke Hazards dissaproval, he did the same course with one of my instructors. I'm now on the hunt for full time work and devoting most of my time to XAW which is proving to do well. Until BLOOD STAIN or next weeks column, take it easy!
