The one on the left is female the right is male. Hard to locate, once you get into the zone their easy to find.

Living in Texas does have a few draw backs. For one its a long drive to find the ruber. For all those who like the ruber, I've found for rattlers they do not get excited easily. My big male seldom if ever rattles. Pushing six feet you would think he would be a hand full. But he is quite passive. With out a doubt my most favorite crotalus.
