Who We Are

We are a non-kill, non-profit organization licensed by the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture. We are dedicated to the well being of cats and kittens.

Feline Friends works with the homeless cat population, rescuing stray and abandoned cats/kittens, furnishings them with medical treatment and placing them into life long homes with compatible owners. We take every step to ensure that every cat/kitten is screened for Leukemia, AIDS, and receive distemper and rabies vaccinations and is altered according to age.

We also work with people owned cats/kittens by finding adoptive homes according to a prioritized list. Although Feline Friends does work with people owned cats/kittens, the majority of our felines are very needy animals such as strays or feral cats that not only require medical treatment, but also require socializing.

We do not have a shelter complex, but instead use foster homes. Foster homes are everyday people willing to open their homes to care for felines needing a residence until adoptive homes can be found. These foster homes provide for the food and litter needed to sustain their foster animals while in their care unless food and litter donations are received and are then passed on to our foster homes.

All members of Feline Friends are volunteers and all moneys received go directly to the care of felines only. As a general policy, we do not set a limit on the amount of care needed to help a sick or injured cat/kitten.

Through the efforts of our volunteers Feline Friends has managed to place over 300 cats and kittens into lifelong homes last year. Although we do some small fund raisers, we depend solely on adoption fees and donations from private individuals to survive. For us to continue our work, we are in constant need of good adoptive homes and financial support from generous, caring, and compassionate people.
