i was trying to send a fax message to the dme's office from my fax machine. and the above is the report. after the machine starts sending the fax it gets stuck.

there are two possibilities - the dme's machine was being switched off or my telephone line is being tampered with. i wont rule out both. i persisted and got the fax through later. the normal transit time is less than thirty seconds for a single page A4

this was after i was informed about the "special messenger" and my suggestion was that rather than wait for the missing NLC to come back why not issue a duplicate?
