beggars cannot be choosers

the suspended impurities have settled down at the bottom
and it is comparatively clear

decantation, filteration, evaporation (who taught me that? must be prabhakaran mash.). we use the first technique here.

the top layer becomes clear as the impurities settle down to the bottom. you can use it for bathing after decanting. and for drinking you boil it with a sprinkle of jeera to get rid of the acrid taste.

and if you are over come by the hankering for a glass of clean cold water buy a bottle of "mineral" water . not very costly, just twenty rupess for two litre bottle.

keralites draw the parallel between their state in india to sweden in europe. is it possible that the people of the capital city of such a state are drinking muddy water? most unlikely. the likely and more interesting possibility is it is all another of the mad man's illusions.

or could be that i had put some mud in the water after collecting it from the tap! to malign the kerala water authority (what a glorious name!) a peverted mind can do such things, ( but there is hope; the brilliant doctors of mct can make it disappear just like that "behavioural training", you know!)

another possibility is that the kerala water authority is fortifying the water with essential amino acids, and other micro and macro nutrients. and could be that is the secret of the high iq of the people in this state, especially those in mct trivandrum!

for fellows like me with more mundane interests what is preferable is clean potable water that is aesthetically pleasing.

many a time even this water is not there and taps are dry; and may be people wish - at least let us have that muddy water! beggars cannot be choosers!
