ViceManthe movie speaks for itself.there is a possibility that there was a real break down during that day - but it is most unlikely, i can assure you.
the local manager of the internet company initially said he is not aware of any break downs and if at all there was any he ought to have known - he is very right there. but as the conversation progressed he said the exact opposite - he has no idea what had happened and i should contact their help line.
later on i was talking to the helpline of tata indicom (you dial 2700295 from trivandrum. they operate from hyderabad if i am not mistaken but the charge is as for local calls only ) and as i started talking about the above incident the ear piece of my telephone started giving sound as if a barany's box is placed just adjacent to the ear and i had to cut off the line. the gestapo does not want me to talk about the matter or try to get any clarifications.
what you see in the latter part of the movie can also be explained away by all sorts of excuses. that is the charm of computing and internet. and if at all i bring in conclusive proof nothing is going to happen. you can get away with anything! that is provided you have the right connections.
