Hey, Look, Stuff! Recently I realized that I am more interested in artists than their art so here for you are some of both...and then just some random stuff I enjoy. *note: the pictures are sometimes links* Edward Gorey artist and writer, extraordinaire Salvador Dali A beautiful man, A wonderful artist Some years back the Zoo District theatre company did a play called "Pathe X" which opened my eyes and entire being to a wonderful man known as Salvador Dali. The play ventures through the dream of a man writing a play and laced into that dream is an abstract biography of Dali's life at home and through his paintings. It was absolutly amazing. But enough about the theatre—since the play, I have thumbed through numerous books on Dali which I generally find in the Bargain Department of Barnes & Noble. Although I am not too wild about his most famous works including the melting clocks, I do love the concepts involved. And he's an interestingly handsome man too. It really is too bad he dedicated his heart and soul to that heartless witch.
