As you are directed to the central part of the entire sanitarium, you find yourself feeling watched. By whom or what, you do not know, but this place is giving you the absolute creeps. You can still hear the screaming and crying of the patients in the west wing, and it's making you a little batty. One of the patients grabbed your arm and left a deep red mark, almost like a burn. You rub your arm as you think of the look on their faces; the pain and agony... One guy swore to god he was being attacked by bees all the time, and others were just plain crazy. As you stand there in silence, you look around and suddenly your eyes become blurred. You realize that you're crying, and for the life of you, you can't figure out why.

Remembering a hankerchief in your pocket, you take it out and wipe your tears away and go to the empty nurse's station to look around. The file cabinets that were there earlier, are gone. "What the hell..?" you wonder to yourself. Turning around, you give the place another look, and the floors have disappeared! It's all grassy now, instead of the beautiful black and white marble tiles! "I'd better get out of here," you mutter to yourself, looking for the door. "Where'd it go?!" you scream inside your head, almost panicking now. Your breathing has become steadily faster, and your heart is beating rapidly against your ribcage, making you feel sick.

Before you have the chance to move, you merely blink and the walls turn into a forest of huge trees, and the nurse's station is now a beautiful fountain. You still don't understand what's happening to you. It seems as though the touch from the insane patient may have done this, all because you're perfectly aware of where you should be. But then again, aren't those insane people in the west wing all aware of themselves? Don't they think they're all just fine, only... To you, and the others deemed 'sane', they're crazy? You turn around and look behind you from the way you entered from the west wing, and the long hall is still there, but it's completely dark at the end. When you had first arrived, the end of the hall had some light coming through it, but now it was pitch black.

Trying to find out if you really are nuts, you look up for any sign of a ceiling, but now it's nothing but beautiful blue sky with a few scattered clouds and a bright sun shining down on your face to warm you. "This cannot be," you again think to yourself. "Hello? Is anyone here?" Your voice echoes like it would have normally in the cathedral-like central building, but just as you walk over to the fountain, you hear a ruffle of feathers... Perhaps wings... You whip around quickly and find yourself looking upon two odd-looking creatures. They had wings to support them in flight, and had a horse's body and hind legs. No forelegs at all, the crest of a cockatoo on their heads, and a long-furred cat's tail that curled at the end.

"Hello there!" the dark colored one says in a chipper tone. "Who are you, and why are you in our clearing?"

"More importantly," the golden yellow and white one speaks up, "how did you get here, and what do you want from us?"

Confused, you blink at them. You speak your name, and tell the golden white one that you don't mean any harm, and you have no idea how you got here. One moment, you seemed perfectly sane, and the next... Well, you were here!

"I see," says the golden one. "Well, if you wish, we can give you a grand tour of the place if you promise to keep your hands to yourself."
