2-25 ORPHAN OF WAR

Xena and Gabrielle join forces with the centaurs to fight the warlord, Dagnine who is trying to steal a powerful gem. While there Xena reveals that she had a son, Solon, with Borias and left him with the centaurs. She tries to bond with the young boy, who does not know she is his mother, only to find him angry at her for killing his father.

2-26 REMEMBER NOTHING

The Three Fates give Xena a chance to return to the life she had before she became a warrior. As long as she never picks up a sword she can live the life she would have lead if not for Cortez. Or so she thinks. In this life, her brother is alive but her mother is dead and Gabrielle is slave to a warlord. She tries to free Gabrielle and gets herself and her brother caught by the warlord. Her brother wants to fight, but Xena knows that if she kills anybody in this life she will be returned to her warrior ways. She must decide between her brother and her best friend. .

2-27 GIANT KILLER

Xena, Gabrielle and Xena's old friend Goliath are on opposite sides of the Israelite Phillistine war, . Xena knows the weakness of Giants in battle. They have a spot on the bridge of thier nose that, if hit, will kill them. She is prepared to use that knowledge if necesary. David, , steps forward and says tht he must take on the role of leader to his people and kill Goliath.Xena and dAVID develop a plan that will focre Goliath to take off teh helmet wth teh protective nose guard and David will sling a rock at him. The army lines up with shields and aim them so the sun will reflect off them and onto Goliaths helmet and in his eyes, forcing him to take off the helmet. It works and David kills him.

MISTAKE: Storm clouds are shown covering the sun and then later breaking. But the sky is clear in the shots focusing on what is happening on the ground and evrybody has shadows, which would not be possible if the sun was covered the way the shots showed.

2-28 GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN

Xena , Gabrielle, Joxer and Orpheus defeat the evil God Bacchus, who is transforming innocent girls into monsters. One of whom gets Gabielle. To save her, Xena turns into a Bacchae herself. 2-29 RETURN OF CALLISTO

Callisto manages to free herself from jail, takng the other prisoners with her. With plans to once and for all destroy Xena. Perdicus reappears in Gabrielle's life and proposes. She holds off answereing him until after killing one of Callstios men he tells her that he can't fight and kill anymore and is going home. She decideds to marry him. Callisto kills him though and Gabrielle attempts to kill her in revenge but can't. Callisto captures her and ties her up. Xena comes to save her. She fights with Callisto and when Callisot flees in a chariot she folows. The both are overturned into quicksand but Xena climbs out. Then watches Callisto sink.

2-30 WARRIOR...PRINCESS...TRAMP

Meg, a lookalike to both Xena and Princess Diana is hired to dethrone Diana. 2-31 INTIMATE STRANGER

Callisto is haunting Xena in her dreams telling her that she is a murderer for letting her die. The dreams are caused by Xena's own sense of guilt and Callisto uses them to enter into the mortal realm. Pulling Xena to the underworld with teh help of Ares she switches bodies with Xena. Xena is trapped in Tartauras in Callsiots body and Callisto is free to do as she pleases in Xena's body. Xena explains the situation to Hades and is granted on day among the living to prove it. If she can't take Callisto down she is trapped forever. Meanwhile Callsito is planning two things. First the murder of Xena and second the destruction of all the people of Amphipolis. Namely, Xena's mother. She tells Gabrielle that she needs her to kill Callisto (meaning Xena) and that she was wrong in not doing it before. When Xena show up in Callistos body and attacks Callisto Gabrielle almost does kill her. But Xena tells her about the switch and tricks Callsto with a question that only Xena would know. Knowing she'd been tricked Callisto escapes. Off to continue with her other plan. She is defeated there by Xena and sent back to tartauras, but still in Xena's body.

2-32 TEN LITTLE WARLORDS

Ten warlords are invited by Ares to an island for a mysterious purpose. Callisto is one of the ten. Joxer brings teh invitation to Xena, who is still in Callisto's body the scroll. She know immediatly that the invites can't be from Ares because he knows Callisto is dead. This makes her curious to what is going on and intentds t find out. In a village port they meet up with Ares and learn that his sword, and along with it his godhood, have been stolen. Without him as god of war normally peacful peple are becming violent. Which we see n the background as Xena and Ares talk. Fights break out and Gabrielle attacks a bartender. Xena decideds to accept the invitation to get to the bottom of things and Ares comes alng. She leaves Gabriele behind, which angers her. Thye get on a boat and journey to an island where they are informed that a contest, whcih entails the killing of a beast on the island, will determine the winner of the sword. (Gabrielle and Joxer follow hte boat Xena is traveling on) The warlords slowly begn killing each other off in an attempt to better their chances of winning the sword. Xena finds it just as the ast few are killing each other. Meanwhiel Gabrielle and Jxer are trying to find a way into the castle and discover a drainage pipe. They follow it and discover the "monster" which is jsut a machne making scary noises. They shut it down and continue into the castle. Inside they blow the ecret of the onster and Ares sword is returned to him. Although he promised Xena he'd return her body to her if given his godhood he dosen't immediatly, dissapointig Gabrielle, who can't stand looking at the Callisto body because it reminds her of Perdicus and his murder.

2-33 A SOLSTICE CAROL

A Xena style remake of the Dicken's A Christmas Carol. They have to stop scrooge like King Silvus from evicting a group of orphans and banishng all signs of Soltice from his life. Using the three ghosts of solstice past present and future they discver the king became bitter after being left by his wife on solstice. The wife is surprise surprise the same person who is head of the orphanage.

MISTAKE: In the final few minutes of the eisode Xena and Gabrielle are walking side by sie away from the village. They stop to talk to a couple who is heading into the village. The wife is pregnant.. The camera focus switches a few times but Xena's hands are in every shot. They are empty.and they don't move. The shot cuts to a different angle and she is holding a parcel in her hand which she gives to Gabrielle.

2-34 XENA SCROLLS

In 1940 Dr. Janice Covington and Melinda Pappas, descendants of Xena and Garielle, find the Xena Scrolls and the tomb where Ares had been trapped for all those years. Xena's spirit returns and possesses the body of Melinda to prevent Ares' escape from the ancient tomb

2-35 MISS AMPHIPOLIS

Xena enters Salmoneus' Miss Known World Pageant to keep the contest from being sabotaged and provoking a war between three warlords who have enterd their women in the contest.

2-36 DESTINY

In this episode Xena is injured badly in the teaser and must be taken to a healer from her past. It is in this episode that Ceaser's betrayl is explained, as is some insight into why Xena ended up the way she did. The episode goes back and forth from the present to the past in ntertwining storylines as Gabrielle treks to find the only person who can save her friend.

2-37 THE QUEST

Xena must reunite her sprit with her body before it is too late and she is truly dead. Too do this she posses Autolycus and makes him steal her body back from the Amazons and find he Ambrosia in time. While this is happening Gabrielle has returned to the Amazons where Ephiny has asked her to be queen. This angers Valasca an Amazn who wants to be queen. She follows Autolycus and Gabrielle to the ambrosia and tries to steal it. She and Gabrielle fight and it looks like Valasca is beaten.

2-38 NECESSARY EVIL

Valasca is back and pissed at Gabrielle. She's also immortal. In order to stop her they need anothr immortal to fight her so for lack of choices they ask Callisto, offering her ambrosia if she helps. Xena tricks them both though and during the battle cuts a rop bridge they're both standing on, sending them both into a river of lave. Ephiny is named the new queen of the Amazons in Gabrielle's absence. 2-39 THE EXECUTIONER

Gabrielle's friend Meleager is accused of murdering a man. He says he didn't do it, but thinks that he actualy did. It turns out that he didn't and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, but the judge convicts him anyway. He is hanged, but Xena saves him at the last minute and they confront the corrupt judge.

2-40 BLIND FAITH

Xena is blinded in a battle with a young warrior that has kidnapped Gabrielle to be the intened bride of a dead king. So, blinded with only this cocky young warrior to help her she must get into the cstle and save her friend. 2-41 ULYSSES

Xena and Gabrielle help Ulysses return to his home of Ithica despite Poisioden's attempts to stop them. In the process Ulysses falls for Xena and is forced to choose between her and his wife Penelope who he hasn't seen in ten years.

HISTORICAL FACT

The Greeks used the name Odysseus. It was the Romans who called him Ulysses.

2-42 A COMEDY OF EROS

Cupid's sons arrows cause a number of people to fall in love with someone at first sight. Xena falls for Draco, Draco falls for Gabrielle and Gabrielle and Joxer fall for each other. Only, when the spell wears off, Joxer is still in love with Gabrielle.

HISTORICAL FACT

Eros was what the Romans called the god of love. He was the son of the goddess of love (Venus) and he never grew past infancy.
