As a young girl, Callisto, the Warrior Queen (a term coined by Joxer the Mighty), watched her parents die at the hands of Xena, the Conqueror of Nations. (Then again, Callisto ended up slaying her own family in "Armageddon Now" so it’s hard to say who exactly is responsible.)
That young woman grew up to become a fearsome warlord in her own right, her goal the complete destruction of the woman who created her: Xena.
After several encounters with Xena, a body transferal with the Warrior Princess, and a few cases of death, Callisto finally sided with Dahak and his evil spawn Hope. Unfortunately, the moment Callisto regained her thirst for life, Xena destroyed her once and for all during a ceremony intended to bring the evil deity Dahak into the world.
Have we seen the last of the Warrior Queen? It would seem so...
Callisto returns after being a part of Xena and Gabrielle's death, which they're resurrected from the dead by Eli. Callisto is "reborn" as an angel, after Xena spares her soul to save Callisto's, Xena is saved from hell at the exact moment Eli brings'em back.
Callisto is the "father" of Xena's child, the child that will bring about the Twilight Of The Gods. Callisto has come from her evil dark past to an..."angel," working side by side with the Archangel Michael. Looks like Callisto's soul has finally been calmed. |
