Hercules' journey's began when Hera, Queen Of The Gods, killed Hercules' family, for this Hercules set out on an adventure to rid the world of all Evil. On his journey's a childhood friend also joined him, Iolaus, Iolaus was also a skilled fighter, they both went to the same Academy, on one of their journeys they ran into a Hydra, cutting off the head and watching two more grow in it's place Hercules and Iolaus were stunned, they soon figured out how to kill it. They would cut off the head, then burn where the head was to prevent another from growing, thus killing the Hydra. On another journey they met with the mother of all monsters who was not happy that Hercules killed her many children, they soon made amends and became friends.
On another of Hercules' adventures, this dark haired woman seduced a love-struck Iolaus, who betrayed Hercules. This dark haired woman was Xena, in her evil plan, she used Iolaus to make him kill his best friend, which failed. Hercules convinced Xena to right her wrongs and fight evil not coincide with it. Xena listened to his words and set out on a journey of redemption.
Hercules always wanted revenge against Hera and finally got it when he killed her, by throwing her into the depths of Tartarus, where Cronos also lay. Soon after this Hercules battle with Dahak, who possesses the body of his now dead friend Iolaus. The only way he could save Iolaus' soul was to perform an exorcism. In doing so Dahak is "removed" from the body of Iolaus, and Iolaus is brought back to life by Michael-the Archangel.
Hercules was always thought of as the world's mightiest hero, he thought of himself as one man trying to change the world...and so he did. In his last adventure ever he reunited Hera and Zeus, saved the world, and reunited a Godly child with his mother. He finally retired as the saviour of the world. What will Hercules do now....??? |
