Lila's small village life drastically changed, when her husband and parents were decapitated by the evil raider Gurkhan, also kidnapping her daughter Sarah.  Gabrielle sets out on a suicide mission in order to save Sarah and have her vengeance.  Sarah is brought home safely, however Gabrielle...she doesn't and cannot kill ever in cold blood, she stills remains pure to her beliefs.  Lila has grown from a naive village girl, into a strong, wise, mother who adores life.
