MY PARTING WORDS,
AU REVOIR, MY PRECIUOS ONE THE TIME HAS COME TO PART
ALTHOUGH FATE SAYS THAT I MUST GO I'LL LEAVE BEHIND MY HEART
KEEP WITH YOU THE SWEET BOUQUET OF HAPPY DAYS NOW GONE
IN THE GARDEN OF THE PAST THEY WILL LIVE ON AND ON
PARTING IS A STORMY SEA THAT WE ALL MUST SOMEDAY SAIL
AND THE ONES CHOSEN TO STAY BEHIND MUST RIDE OUT THE GALE
AU REVOIR MY SWEET
LIFE WILL BE A DREARY PLACE UNTIL AGAIN WE MEET
SINCE I HAVE NO GOLD TO GIVE
LOVE ALONE MUST MAKE AMENDS
MY HUMBLE PRAYER IS WHILE I LIVE
"GOD MAKE ME WORTHY OF MY FRIENDS"

*when i heard this "poem" read at my Grandmothers funeral, it was  within a letter and the words sounded familiar to me...i'm sure i have read them somewhere before. If you know or have seen this poem before please email me and share the info? Thanks.
