Hayashi looked up towards the ceiling, he was standing still in the middle of a brown, dusty road. Looking far into the horizon he located a town and slowly walked towards it. Believing that he was transferred to the 1990's he tried to find a billboard or a sign. Not seeing any signs he thought he was in the country. Stumbling down a steep hill he reached into his pocket for his cell phone and looked at his watch 10:00am, the guys at the control center should have phone by now he though. he hesitated a bit wondering what was going on and walked on.

10:40pm
Walking down the first street near the gate of the town/city, he started to become a bit afraid. The city seem all too ancient and the architecture was not popular in his time. A bit panicky now he reached for his phone and started to dial the Gen! TimeTrav. Experiment number, pausing in between cause he forgot the rest of the number (As the experiment was quite new to him). Frustrated he dialed 911...seconds past and he didn't hear a dial tone.
Confused he walked to the building beside, him on the right. Strange steps led to the door, leading to a mat. He knocked gently on the door twice and waited for and answer. A few min later he heard foot steps and the door open. Looking at him was a Japanese man waiting for an answer. "Uhuhhum.." Hayashi cleared his throat, no sure whether to speak Jap, or to speak English. After taking a few seconds to decide he looked up. The door was closed.
Hayashi knocked again, swearing at himself for not being able to think clearly or fast enough. The door opened again. This time an lady was at the door...
He spoke in Japanese..
" Kon-nichi-wa, madam sumi-masen do you happen to know where I am?" Hayashi said, he bow deeply and tried to be as calm as possible. Curiously the old women replied slowly.
"Sir, this is my house, in the city of Tokyo...how may I help you young man?"
He paused for a while... "Excuse me, may I ask if anything is wrong?"
"um.. Thank you, how much is required for me to stay?"
"Hya-ku yen for a week, how long are you planing to stay?"
"I don't know, I don't have a home and come from a far..."
"In that case," paused for a moment "if you can do some of our chores, as we are quite old and lonely you may stay as long as you want"
A smile appeared on Hayashi's face, thanking the elderly couple again he step inside. The old granny looked at him, in a bit of a annoyed but cheerful look. Hayashi, puzzled though back to his house rules and smiled shyly. Taking off his shoes and placing them on the mat, he walk in.
A few minutes later the husband of the old lady came in, he talked to the lady for a while and looked at him. Its seem like he was scanning him from top to bottom, but after a while he smiled and welcome him in. Hayashi took a deep breath, relieved that he had not disagree with the old lady's decision. He walked towards the elderly couple and introduced himself.
"May I ask oh your name?" Hayashi said, "Oh excuse me, my name is: Sasaki Takahashi and my husband is Rikku Takahashi, and you might be?"
"Hayashi Kikamoto, I am honored too please too meet you. I am very grateful that you have allowed me to stay." After greeting the couple, he walked softly upstairs to unpack his stuff, he spoke silently to himself, perhaps he was in the Late Miji period. Hayashi lied down on his mat, feeling excited. He only read and say pictures of this period when he was in school. After he fell asleep with a bit of a smile on his face.
Next Day : 9:00Am
Hayashi woke up, after hearing a quick thud. He got up and put on his T-shirt, walked over to the window and looked out. The streets were pretty busy he though. Then he heard a small muffled scream. He looked outside again and saw a man being dragged into a building. Reacting naturally the way he did in training he took his gun and ran downstairs, almost tripping on the way. the elderly couple, was at the bottom of the stair smiling. He smiled back, "I gonna pick up some breakfast, umm i mean food at the store..." the couple looked curious at the item he was holding. "This is..is...i'll be back" Hayashi said nervously, then ran out the door missing the steps and fell a few feet making a nice perfect head dive into the dirt. Hayashi got up and ran to the side of the house. He let his hand tense by his side, holding the gun tightly. Taking a glance at a corner. He ran to a empty stand. The bamboo door was slightly open, giving him a better glimpse of what was happening. A cold chill suddenly went down his spine, it was the history's most vicious mob boss; Nassa Blimpeto. Hayashi stretched to get a closer look, in the corner was some pistols and swords. Armor dressed men walked around, some smoking tobacco (new to the country). He looked over to the left. Hostages. It was impossible to defeat them all even if he had a gun. Backing off..a hand touched his shoulder grabbing and dragging him. He felt a blow to the head and everything went black.
Hayashi woke up, he sat up and looked down at his hands. There were no restrains and he was not in a cell. He though of himself being kidnapped. He laughed hysterically, this was to good to be true. The place he was in was his room in the elder's house. He slowly walked to the sliding door and pushed it aside, checked below and walked as downstairs. Kneeling by a table was Mr. and Mrs. Takahashi, both had very annoyed and worried looks.
"Hayashi, we found you outside unconscious, what in the world where you doing?"
Satisfied by the excuse the couple accepted the lie, and told Hayashi to eat his lunch. After lunch the sun became a scorching fire ball, burning in the sky. Hayashi sat down on the cold floor of his room and read for a while. ..Perhaps they forgot to contact me....nah that can't be possible; the were after told to and had went over the steps many times.... maybe they messed up after all Hayashi thought. He threw his novel aside and moaned. There was nothing much to worry about in his time, all but his family perhaps time is standing still. The only thing he could do was get use to this lifestyle. He had a job to for fill and he had to get out of this time period. Perhaps joining Nassa, (a mob in the 1999's) would allow him to get back to his own time....Then he fell into a deep sleep relieving his aching head. To be continue
