Well I only made this page so that you can compare between my student life and my life back at home, simple.
My house used to have uh, lets see, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 1 guest room, 6 bathrooms, 3 offices, 2 theater rooms, 4 bedrooms, 1 maid room and 1 GYM room, that's a total of uh 22 rooms I think, we have over 10 TVs everyplace around the house and computers and stuff, and no its not a mansion, not even close to one
All houses back at my country had A/Cs (Air Conditioners) because its much more like hell when summer comes, 80-100% humidity is what makes it really feel hot there, peak temperature gets to 44c and sometimes higher on occasional years. In August the weather at night feels much hotter than it is in the afternoon, its because of the sea that heats up in daytime thus giving greater heat at night, and greater humidity too. Yes and tourists love to come to my country, and I'm always wondering why they like the heat that much.
At winter, we don't turn on the A/Cs, we usually cover them up with bags and stuff because winds gets a bit strong and pulls with it a big amount of dust, people tend to get sick at winter because of the African wind that carries lots of bacteria and viruses. It gets pretty cold at winter, doesn't normally go below 14c so it doesn't snow there, however it did snow once at 1964 I think, our parents lived that moment. Even though the temperature doesn't get too low there, it still feels colder than it is because of the humidity, in January most people turn on their heaters.
It doesn't rain much there, it rains on February most, but rain there isn't the same as we always know it; it doesn't rain everyday, but when it rains the skies turn dark and thunderstorms occur, which could last from about 1 day to over 3 days of constant rain! Although it may rain that much we don't get floods, just some pools here and there. And almost every year there has to be one or two days where it hails for around 10-60 minutes.
Life back there? Well, wake up in the morning and take a bath [You must do that everyday in summer time, else you'll smell like a dead rat], have breakfast, which may be eggs, or corn flakes, or toast, then its school/college/work time unless you're on holiday its playing Video Games time, then comes lunch, where you have either rice with meat and sauce, or rice with chicken and sauce, or rice with prawns and sauce, or rice with fish and onions/tomato sauce... etc. So 80% of lunch there is all rice with something, occasionally we make something else, like chicken burgers.
After eating that lot of rice your brain starts to feel dizzy, and most people tend to take a nice nap after lunch, while people like us tend to go and play Video Games, or do homework. Then comes dinner, my favorite meal, could be big beans, or nice chicken fillet burgers, or corn flakes, or eggs, or fish fingers, or possibly going out to good Chinese or Italian or Mexican restaurants.
So as you can see, I eat quite healthy food and almost every vitamin or mineral my body needs, I provide.
