| | XiJEN Institute of Technology is a technical school recognized by the
Philippine Government. It operates under a permit granted by the Technical
Education and Skills Development Authority or TESDA. The school was
established as a one-room computer learning center in 1992. It was founded
by Joel T. Fagsao, a native of Bontoc, Mountain Province. The school
offers the following courses:
- Computer Technician (2 Years)
- Computer Programming (2 Years)
- Computer Secretarial (2 Years)
- Computer Applications (5 months)
School Highlights:
- Advocate of IT in Mountain Province
- Lone private IT learning center in the province
- Winner of silver medals in the 1999 Regional Computer Skills Olympics,
Youth and Open Category, held at Baguio City
- Pioneering internet access in the province with the installation of a VSAT
system. (Installed November 2001)
