Background: Darryn is the middle child of five, though he always had to take care of everyone else. His dad died when he was five, and it nearly tore his whole family apart. Eventually, things got better-his older, asshole of a brother, Brooks, moved out and his mom seemed to bounce back from a deep depression - but then his older sister, Terese got pregnant at sixteen. Now, she's pretty much a drunk, and he raised her now eighteen year old daughter. After ten years, he was reunited with his highschool girlfriend, who had left without warning when he was 16. He found out that she'd been pregnant when she'd left, and he had a daughter, Ash. He and Tamil, his girlfriend, tried to rekindle their old romance, but when she got tired of playing family, she picked up and left, leaving Ash with Darryn and Dani.
