A Life You Love

The bloody blade of the guillotine gleams, 
And thought certain death it may seem, 
My love will live on forever 
In your memories and in your dreams. 
I am the resurrection and the life, 
for a life you love, 
I will endure any strife, 
Even death by this merciless knife. 
The vow i had made long ago, 
Shall be fulfilled by the dawn of tomorrow, 
And your happiness and joy will abide, 
With a life you love standing by your side. 
The purpose in my life will be satisfied, 
A life that you love so dearly will be revived, 
And with undying and unconditional love 
I will watch you from the heavenly stars above.
