LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

I saw you for the first time last week,
I knew right then what i needed to seek.
our eyes met once and that was it,
my world changed every little bit.
I didn't have enought courage to get up to meet,
nor even the strength to greet.
that night I had a dream,
of course you were its theme.
I woke up next morning and wrote you a note,
my courage had began to float.
that day I looked for you once more,
to give you my note telling you our love would soar.
to my grief, you weren't there,
you had left in the evening without a care.
my world had crashed,
as quickly as a flash.
I walked through the day with my head down low,
feeling my heart had taken a blow.
I knew it was the end,
my life had taken its bend.
I will never forget you,
I just wish you believed in love at first sight too.
