PAIN

Pain sometimes cannot be suppressed, 
Emotions, at times, just will not rest. 
Tears flow when you don't know why, 
But when you want to, you cannot cry. 
You go through life the same as before, 
No one knowing the pain you endure. 
To lose a loved one, to lose a friend. 
Someday, we all will come to an end. 
I can't understand the feeling in me, 
From this pain, I wish I was free. 
Keeping busy is not a cure, 
Sometimes it makes the pain grow more. 
Watching my father die, 
Many thoughts ran through my mind. 
My graduation, my wedding, 
He won't be there this time. 
Dad always helped me out, 
Now I'll have to fend for my own. 
When you lose a loved one, 
It is the greatest pain ever known.
