| The next level is the heart 'Beauty' Tifferes,' it is the middle point, of the emotional aspects it is beauty in the sense of being able to harmonise diversity, to keep them together that's what is beautiful. It is very sticking when you put colours together in the right proportions and combinations that express beauty, but how does this relate to us as an emotion? The inner emotion that 'Beauty-Tifferes' represents, in ones heart is 'Mercy,' because mercy really means in this sense a deep empathy, to be able to identify with someone else as if your are them. But what is the relation ship between Mercy and Beauty? Just as the character of mercy within ourselves is able allows us to acsept different people that normally don't have any relationship to. |

> They are their colour and you are your colour and but you are able to put your self together to blend your self, in such away that there is an identification one with the other, this is called 'the inner part of the heart,' for the two of you to blend together, like the two diverse colours is the idea of 'Rachamim,' which means I'm holding my self back at the level of the heart -emotions, the middle of the person, like I feel happy but I know your really depressed, so I'm gonna hold my happiness back a little bit, so you don't feel even more depressed that your having a bad day and I'm having a good day, or I'm going to a wedding in a really bad mood but I'm gonna hold back my mood and get into things and start dancing, this is holding oneself back at the level of feelings and this is the idea of Ztim-Ztum of the emotions of the heart to be able to identify with someone else and leave room for their emotional properties what ever it may be, even if it's antithetical to mime. If my emotion, doesn't allow space for any other feeling except what I'm feeling at the moment, that means I'm consumed with what I'm feeling so we have to have a little self restraint to leave room for somebody else to feel something from the out side, and connect. The last level we said is Malkut sometimes this has to do with the ends of a person and this has two variant in describing what is the 'Sof' meaning 'End' of the person and where is it located; One is the mouth, everything that is going on inside you is your private property and is yours personally until it exits your mouth, and then it's public property, and that is what Malkut really also means Kingdom and Sovrenty and this reflects the domain of influence, that a person has, I able to influence my surroundings by expressing my through my mouth. So lets look at the mouth, have you ever met some one that talks continually extremely fast they have to tell you every thing that happened in the last twenty four hours and they have to tell you it in twenty seconds, in order, but sometime when you try to say everything all at once you end up saying nothing at all. Because there is a little bit of a traffic jam in your mouth , it isn't able to express it's self all at once and you choke on your own words, additionally if you just talk and talk and talk, you also tend to overwhelm the person that's listening they can't listen any more they are not able to comment back it's too much, wow your not giving me any space, you've been talking to me non stop for the last five hours, shut up, the idea is to hold ourselves back, sometimes when we speak, even though the power of speech sometimes when we speak, is also Ayin Sof infinite we can speak endlessly, and even some people we know can speak endlessly, on the phone although even though we can talk endlessly we have to hold back for the ability to communicate and to communicate , so the Ztim-Ztum, the Challal the vacated space, at this level of Sof, of Malkut Peh, is the ability to influence with the mouth is literally the mouth, the mouth is an empty space, which if would become so full with words it can't express it's self, the mouth is quite literally the 'Challal' which means 'the empty space, a vacuum,' so if you hold the mouth back by exercising this restitution & restraint and then you are able to form the words and release them bit by bit, so they can be understood. The other explanation is it is the Foot, it is the end of the whole process as far a it has contact with the ground, it represents 'Action' I can think and feel what ever I want but the foot takes me where I want to go, it acutely does it makes it real. There is an additional idea is from the word for foot which is 'Ragil' like the English word regular it means behaviour or habit this is the idea of the foot , this is the routine the daily , mechanisms and actions I have to perform and act and it's the lowest the Sof, so where is the idea of Ztim-Ztum here, the idea of self restraint? And contraction? … behaviour it is also very easy to understand how your actions your habits in your day to day life I may want to do it this way and you may want to do it that way and yet we hold ourselves back in order get along to restrain our self a little bit, and that may be an other example. The foot is action and the way you would hold your self back the way would normally act, if you always acted the same way you would be called in psychology an 'excessive compulsive,' I have to do it this way I always go out this door I can't go out of the other door, etc.. in such examples there is a lack of control of the soul, Ztim-Ztum at the level of habitual (foot) action. |
