This is Spike. Spike is a finely bred stunning golden palomino horse. One look at him, and I know your head would spin... but this horse is equally beautiful as he is intelligent and talented. Spike was a former PHBA World Champion Trail horse. Spike and I have been a team for 3 wonderful years now and everyday has been a joy. You can catch Spike and I at open shows, Arabian horse shows as well as a few PHBA and the occasional AQHA show. Spike has proven to do well in all classes but trail is tops for us. Then there is horsemanship... man that horse can do it all. Spin, stop, flip & flop. I can change leads in a heartbeat and make it look so easy. Spike and I have place top 3 for two years at the Open Youth Show in Mason City for 2 years. This show is usually pretty good sized and both times had 17-22 rides in them. We placed 2nd the first year, and 3rd the next year. Spike and I have also been Faribault County 4-H Western Pleasure, and Trail Class Champions for 3 years running, as well as the Horsemanship Winner for 2 years running. This year we were named Top Showman, and had a perfect 40/40 score which made us the Grand Grand GRAND Champions of the show. Spike and I have been on the Faribault County 4-H Team to go to the Minnesota State 4-H Horse Show for 3 years. And have placed top ten in the MN State 4-H Show Trail Class for 3 years running. This year we also achieved 10th in Showmanship for the first time! But anyways... I like Spike... and so will you. Cause let me tell'ya... everyone else does too!
