Your Comments: The letter that accompanies this site expresses so well how I feel! Chris Carter may have created a character called Fox Mulder, but he lost control years ago when David Duchovny brought Mulder to life. Mulder has always been the focal point of the X Files; without him, the X Files will cease to exist for me and, I believe, a majority of the Philes. Both CC and Fox fail to recognize that the tremendous success of this program is rooted in David Duchovny's portrayal of Fox Mulder. I first became hooked on the show after seeing the movie; and it wasn't the story itself that hooked me, but the character of Mulder, whom David portrays as a truly honorable man, always doing what he feels is right. But incredibly CC doesn't seem to be aware that Mulder is the heart of the show; he seems to believe that he can just write Mulder out of the show as if he were an annoying extra, hire a new male lead for Scully to bond with, and go merrily on. CC and FOX are apparently unaware, or simply don't care, that they are also treating the loyal fans of the X Files with disrespect by ignoring our desire for decent closure to the series if David, and therefore Mulder, leaves. CC created a series about a character who was shown no respect by peers who refused to acknowledge his work; it's ironic that CC is treating David Duchovny with just as much disrespect. Whatever David's decision is about his continuation with the series, I'll certainly respect it, and very much look forward to following his career in films, both as an actor and a writer.

Your Comments: I'm very disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement for Mr. Duchovny's creative commitment to the success of the X-files. And furthermore the attitude expressed in several of the media interviews is only serving to acerbate animosity from the very fans who supported this program from the beginning. Many of us are quite willing to see an ensemble program grow in the last seasons, but not at the expense of those actors who were responsible for the success in the first place. There are a number of fine actors who have contributed and continue to contribute to the success of this program including Nick Lea and Mitch Pileggi. This shame of ignoring the diversity of talent that make the program the success it was is reprehensible.

I WAS DEVASTATED WHEN I HEARD THAT DD WAS ONLY DOING 11 EPISODES FOR THE 8TH SEASON. I AM SHOCKED AND SADDEN BY THE WAY FOX AND CC ARE TREATING DD. I WILL ONLY WATCH TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO MULDER. WHEN MULDER EXITS I WILL EXIT.

Your Comments: This letter articulates my feelings on this entire situation perfectly. It summarizes in such an eloquent manner what we all appear to be feeling. I support this cause completely. Fox Mulder is one of the most beautifully layered and intriguing characters ever brought to life. David Duchovny has done incredible work over the past seven years, and deserves all the recognition in the world for his contributions to the success of the series. Judging by the recent press, it appears as if most associated closely with the show fail to understand just how essential David Duchovny as Mulder is to "The X-Files." I do admit to having serious reservations about season eight, and I can only hope that the Mulder character will be treated with respect. For me, Mulder is "The X-Files". How can the show survive with its heart only beating part time?

Your Comments: I have loved Fox Mulder and the X-Files from day one. The show without him is inconceivable to me. I will probably watch it this coming season, even when David isn't it, but rest assured, I won't enjoy those episodes nearly as much. In a way, this reminds me of the mid-70's show, "The Streets of San Francisco" which starred Karl Malden and Michael Douglas. This, like the X-Files, was basically a 2 character show. Well, Michael Douglas left the show to pursue a movie career (which, as we are all aware, was very successful). Anyway, when the Douglas character left, the Karl Malden character obtained a new partner, played by Richard Hatch (no, not the guy who won the million bucks on "Survivor"). Now, Hatch is a good actor, but ratings dropped dramatically after he came in. Why? Because viewers were too invested in the Michael Douglas character and his chemistry with Karl Malden. At least they gave Douglas' character a decent send off (he left the police force to teach college). There was no cliffhanger or NYPD Blue-type death. And there was certainly no UST going on with those two. My point is - it's time to end it. It should have ended with season 7. The Star Trek franchise knows this - run a series for so long, then do feature movies with the characters. Sorry to be so long winded, but I do have very definite opinions on this, and I did want to give you my support. Thank you for the chance to rant to

Your Comments: I totally agree with the comments made in the X-Philes for Mulder statement. Beyond the convoluted mythology, the monster-of-the-week, the out-there truths--i watched the X-Files because of Fox Mulder, and NOT just because David Duchovny has great sex appeal! I first feel in love with the character of Mulder because of his sense of humor and intelligence, and his heart-breaking quest for his missing sister. I stayed in love with him because of his integrity, his courage, his commitment and steadfastness, his growing relationship with Scully, and the fact that he's "a damn fine looking man"! :) To me, Fox Mulder IS The X-Files and the character should be treated accordingly!

Your Comments: Over the years The X-Files has become the only show that I watch on tv. The most intrigueing character on tv is Fox "Spooky" Mulder. Now, with the most intrigueing character, and IMHO most important character of the show, only appearing part-time the life of The X-Files has died. David Duchovny has given a fine performance as the intelligent Agent Mulder, and I thank him for bringing the character to life. Now instead of ending the show with dignity after seven fine years, The Powers That Be decided to continue The X-Files beyond its lifespan. All shows come to an end. When a character in an ensemble show leaves, they can be replaced; but when a main character of a two-character lead show leaves, it's time to call it quits. I do respect David Duchovny's decision, but I don't respect FOX for trying to beat life into the show when it could have ended respectfully at the end of season 7.

Your Comments: Mulder made us all want to believe. How can the show go on without its foundation? How dare they be so arrogant to assume that we will ever forget the boyish smile, the quirky humor, the character who dared to say "Might we not finally turn to the fantastic as a plausibility" instead of accepting what was held to be true? Mulder was a truly unique character, brought to life by an equally unique actor. Scully is fine, and their relationship is touching...but when it all comes down to it, we were enthralled week after week because of *Mulder's* passion. It is his quest that we were following year after year, despite the many sidetrips along the way. His X-files were what made us all become fans, whether we're Scullyists or Mulderists or David fans or Gillian Fans or whatever else exists out there. We may say we only tune in for a certain character...but it is the stories that hold us in thrall, and Mulder's life and enthusiasm with the paranormal is the muse. I believe we can't call ourselves true fans of the show if we are not saddened that he is being replaced.

Your Comments: I cannot even imagine. . . . Fox Mulder IS the X-Files. If not for him, they'd have been buried long ago by those who might be exposed by them. . . . He opened them, he dug, he researched. . .he took them seriously. . .he lived them, and he breathed them. And now, *he is one*. The very idea that the X-Files wouldn't need him blows my mind. Don't get me wrong, I think that Scully is a very capable woman. I admire her talents. And I know that she shared the passion for the Files that Mulder had. But how much of it. . .was her having been swept up in his emotion, as we Philes were? How will it fly without him? She was assigned to debunk the files. . .she consistently--waver though she might--presented a scientific alternative, a logical reason to all of his theories. Even after all she'd seen, she'd refused to believe without strong skepticism. It almost seems odd that she should now be expected to be the driving force of the files. As I watch the reruns now. . .I cannot help but wonder how I will be able to stand it without him. No matter how preposterous an idea was, *he* made us believe it. . .or, at least, made us want to believe. I really don't care how CC feels about DD. That's his business. But to allow a character he created. . .that is the heart of his show, not to mention his claim to fame. . .to be undermined in such a fashion. . . . I hope that he realizes this before it's too late, and that he gives Mulder a respectable exit at least. . .not just tack it on like an afterthought. If FOX forgets Mulder, this Phile will *definitely* forget "The X-Files."

Your Comments: I believe in CC to do as good a job as he can with The X-Files in the 8th season. I don't believe that hiring Robert Patrick on, as the new character John Doggett, was a mistake. I think he will be able to add something new and inetresting to the show, but curbing DD/Mulder? I'm a little against this. Scully & Mulder's relationship is what has kept most of us Philes watching. If they were to dump GA/Scully for a long period of time, I would have the exact same thing to say. And as EW's article said, "Mulder and Scully, Scully and Mulder. They go together like 'plausible' and 'deniability'". You simply cannot have one without the other.

Your Comments: Mulder & Scully, Fred & Ginger, Holmes & Watson, Hepburn & Tracy, Bogie & Bacall, etc. What else is there to say? Fox needs to stop pretending they can replace Mulder/Duchovny. They can fill in, but they can't replace. The more they try to force Doggett/Patrick down our throats, the sadder I get, with no offense to Robert Patrick intended. I'll watch because I love the show, but if they're planning to outright replace Mulder, they're bigger fools than I thought. May as well try to replace the milk in milk and honey, or Calvin in Calvin and Hobbes. It's not just dumb, it's impossible.

Your Comments: One reason I have enjoyed the X-Files so much is my enjoyment of the Mulder character, and David Duchovny's portrayal of him. My stomach drops to my toes when I think of many episodes without him. After all, the series was written to be about him. I hope that you will not let Mulder be forgotten in Season 8. To me, he is the 'show'. And if season 8 is the end, and you find out that there will not be any movies, pls do not kill him off. That would cancel out 7 plus years of enjoyment and the hour I've set aside each Sunday night to watch the episodes. Pls let him and Scully go out together, with dignity, and live 'happily ever after'.

From then on, I was hooked on the X-Files and on Mulder. I'm not a Scully fan, and to me, the X-Files is Mulder his job was created because of Mulder, and you better believe I'm not watching non-Mulder shows. I'm all for keeping Mulder in the X-Files. Your Comments: Fox Mulder is the heart and soul of The X-Files and David Duchovny has so brillaintly brought him to life for the past 7 years. No matter how good the writing and the production value of the show is, the majority of the fans watch for the compelling relationship of Mulder and Scully. Now David will only be here for half the season and we have been left with some very exciting plot lines. I understand the desire to bring in a new character and have nothing against Mr.Patrick. However, the shove it in your face PR campaign that is being held is not doing Fox or 1013 any good.I feel there has been a tremendous lack of respect for David and his fans in the articles and interviews I've read. You can bring in anyone you want, but Fox Mulder can never be repaced in our minds and hearts. Please don't consider doing any seasons or movies without David Duchovny. It is a waste of all of our time. Give us the Series finale Chris promised a long time ago,one deserving of the actors and the fans who have been so loyal. Make the movies with David and Gillian we are all dying to see. Roberet Patrick can be there or not,but without David not many fans will be. Your Comments: Though I had hoped and prayed for a dignified end to a truly remarkable show last season, leaving room for the occasional movie, apparently the powers that be had a different agenda in mind. I told myself I could live with that. Half a season of Mulder is better than none. I'll watch those episodes, and those episodes only unless I hear that the magnificent Nick Lea (his underuse is a waste of marvelous talent on 1013's part, but that's another story) puts in an appearance. I will tune in to watch his always stellar performance. Other than that, I have no interest in seeing Scully and *Doggett* chasing down X-files. The very word - X-files is synonymous with *Mulder*, and as far as this Phile is concerned, no Mulder, no X-files. The stories I've heard about the EW article have disturbed me greatly. I have only one question for those whose appalling statements were printed. WHAT IS ON YOUR MINDS? At the risk of repeating myself, Mulder IS the X-files. How can ANYONE forget that? Well. You'll be reminded soon enough when the dismal ratings for season seven and a half start coming in.

The X-Files has always been Mulder & Scully in my mind & will continue to be so. I want the show to go out with a dignified ending & then go on to more XF movies with Mulder & Scully together. If this does not happen, I'm afraid it will ruin the show & the movies for me. I'd hate to see that happen as this has been my all time favorite show. It is a classic and classy show. Please don't ruin it. Mulder & Scully forever!!!!

Your Comments: The homepage at X-Philes for Mulder notes, "It's about dignity, respect, and integrity." If you really think about it, that's something that holds for many of the people and companies who have been brought together by The X-Files – Ten-Thirteen and FOX, Chris Carter, the writers, the directors, the producers, the actors, and the fans. Although it hasn't always happened, throughout most of the history of The X-Files, dignity, respect, and integrity have been a goal always to be desired. Only recently has the effort to maintain dignity, respect, and integrity begun to dissolve -– since David Duchovny's decision to reduce his time commitment to The X-Files. His honesty – in truth, his continued dignity, respect, and integrity – has been met with gleeful references to how wonderful things are now, and with comments from Ten-Thirteen itself that try to paint a revisionist history of The X-Files, that desperately insist that The X-Files really isn't about Mulder. They try to tell us that with Doggett and Scully we'll still be watching The X-Files, that we won't even notice that Mulder is gone. If so, they've lost touchwith the fans. The X-Files is about Mulder -- it always has been, and it always will be. It appears that we will see the last of Mulder this season. If that's so, then what will be broadcast, if the show continues, is The X-Files:TNG. Because there's no way that there can be The X-Files without Mulder. Mulder IS The X-Files, and all we ask now is that as he leaves, Chris Carter, Ten-Thirteen, and FOX give him the dignity, respect, and integrity he deserves. Do right by Mulder as he -- and David Duchovny -- have done right by them. We will accept no less.

Comments: I have been a fan from almost the beginning of the X-Files and what has always drawn me to the show was the dynmatic between Mulder and Scully, the relationship that slowly developed. For me, the relationship was what made me stay with the show throughout the years. I was upset to hear about David only being in half the eps, but I could accept that. What I can't accept is the new attitude towards Mulder. It makes me very sad (and disgusted) to know that one half of this whole is being disregarded and has made me lose the last of my respect for both the show and the possibilities. While I probably will watch the ones with Mulder, it will be very sketchy on whether I will watch any others.

Comments: As a fan of The X-Files from day one. The attitude of FOX, CC, and 1013 are truly hurtful & offensive to me. So I can that the final episode that mulder appears in will be the final new episode of this show I ever watch. I have nothing against Robert Patrick. But I have NO interest what so ever in seeing DOGGETT take MULDER'S rightful place as SCULLY'S partner. I would have had no problem with her working alone or with SKINNER for half a season while they searched for MULDER. And then have that M&S magic for the last half of the season and wrap the series and become a movie series. But sadly that appears not to be the way it is to be. The attempt in the EW article to denigrate the importance of Mulder to The X-Files and the impact of David Duchovny's wonderful performance over the past seven years is sickening. All of this seemingly in an attempt to set up a Season 9 devoid of the heart and soul of the show. Mulder is The X-Files. Please allow the show to end with dignity and respect. Comments: I want to congratulate those who have collaborated in getting this site and this campaign up and running. I do not agree with bashers of any persuasion, yet as season 8 looms on the horizon I too have experienced sadness, worry and anger. The EW cover, while making my stomach do a somersault, was something I could have lived with ;), 'cause I had faith in CC..But the comments 'within' or 'without' context have seriously eroded that confidence..once again =P..yeah,I've stayed in spite of some of the BS CC has also fed us these past 7 years. And I don't regret it one bit! =)Mainly, because Mulder AND Scully made it all worthwhile, they kept me invested in THEIR quest for the truth. And if these complex characters gained my respect and admiration it was due to the actors who portray them. I also believed that GA could have carried the series with the help of the rest of the cast. It would have been an ardous task, but one I had no doubt she would've handled admirably..then DD would return and, together with the 'creator', they would have brought a fitting end to a unique relationship. Mulder and Scully deserve it and so do we!... (g)=)

Comments: Dear Surfer Dude, I've stuck with you for seven long years now, despite the broken promises, despite the cavalier way you've treated not only your fans, but the beloved characters you yourself created. Well, sorry, honey, but I've had enough. You've not only destroyed any remaining faith I may have had in your ability to give Mulder and Scully the ending they deserve, but you've also lost my respect. I'll be there for the episodes that David appears in, but I won't bother with the rest. No Mulder, no me.

Comments: X Files = Fox Mulder. Plain and simple. Always has, always will. If anyone thinks most of us have an interest in XF: TNG, they really need to think again. I DO understand TPTB wanting to perpetuate their profitmaker. For them the bottom dollar as always been just that...money. For us, it's character and respect for years of fabulous work by Dave Duchovny. Please treat Dave's character with respect and appropriate admiration. Had the show simply been about a skeptical pathologist, I'd never have watched for long. Remember that.

Comments: I am a relatively new fan. I only started watching the show at the end of season 6. However, the main reason I started watching at all was Mr.Duchovny. After I saw a few episodes, I was hooked. But I really only watch because of Mulder's role in the show...his quest. Without him, there is NO X-Files. He is the center of the show. I think the Chris Carter and everyone else at Fox should have the integrity to know when things reach their natural end...and season 7, with feature films following the television series, was The X-Files natural end.

Wonderful site, by the way - I think it sums up very well the feelings of fans whose views have simply been ignored -- until now. Thank you.

Comments: In my opinion David has done an outstanding job playing the part of Fox Mulder. He has made a huge imput on the creativity of the X-Files and deserves to be treated better by the press and Fox. When he leaves the show there will be no more X-Files!!Thanks for the opportunity to speak out.

Comments: I've watched the X-Files from the beginning. For me, it's always been Mulder's story -- the show is his quest, his hero's journey into the unknown. I completely support David Duchovny's decision that it was time to move on to other things. I would have preferred the show to end with his departure; it would have been a fitting end to a wonderful series. However, I was delighted to learn he would return for a few episodes in Season 8, presumably to give closure to the character of Mulder. I believed that the show would honor his contributions and do justice to the journey we have been on these past seven years. Since reading the recent article in Entertainment Weekly promoting the new season, I no longer have any confidence that my belief is justified. In fact, I came away from that article feeling as if Chris Carter can't wait to drop Mulder like an old shoe in favor of the new kid on the block. I no longer feel certain that Mulder will be allowed to leave on a positive note or that his journey will be respected. My willingness to give Season 8 a chance is now seriously compromised by a PR campaign that seems bent on telling loyal fans that we'll be glad when Mulder is gone, or that he can be easily replaced. You can't demand that fans forget seven years of believing with Mulder in extreme possibilities. Mulder is the foundation of the X-Files and cannot simply be discarded without damaging the credibility of the show. Give Fox Mulder the fair and just closure he deserves and that we deserve. That's all I ask.

Comments: Mulder is the comic relief of The X-files. He's quirky, witty and adventurous, and it's fascinating to guess what he will say or do next. Without him, the show will be bland and uninteresting. Scully is way too serious (does the woman EVER laugh? well, of course, she does when DD writes her..he's the only one who ever allows his characters to become human) and Doggett apparently will be stone-faced all the time as well. What fun. Sooo...what else is on Sunday nights?

Comments: It is a ridiculous notion that someone would even think about getting rid of Mulder and wanting to continue with the show. The X-Files is a show, about one man's quest (Mulder) to find the truth. You take that man out of the equation and what do you get? Answer? NOTHING! There is no show without this character. The X-Files is Mulder and Mulder is the X-Files. If for what ever reason, Mulder can no longer be a part of the show, then the show should end. They can bring in new characters if they want, but it will no longer be the show called The X-Files. Mulder is the heart and soul of the show. He is the one who we (the viewers) follow each and every week. Because of this character and the love that we have for him, we chose to follow and watch the show week after week. The character of Scully is well loved also, but without Mulder, who is she? Scully would be nothing without Mulder and his quest. She is there to compliment him. They in turn compliment each other. It should not be assumed that she can carry on without him. You CAN NOT and SHOULD NOT continue the show without them both. Mulder and Scully are the most famous TV duo since Starsky and Hutch, Batman and Robin, Laverne and Shirley, Burns and Allen, Abbott and Costello, and I could go on. To try and make the fans forget about a character who has become near and dear to our hearts is despicable. It just won't happen. Mulder will go down in history as one of the most interesting and endearing characters on television. He should be allowed to remain in our memories as the great character that he is, instead of being degraded and pushed aside to make room for a new character. It's just not right!

Comments: Three years ago (which looks like an eternity) I began watching The X-Files. But there was a four season ep that made me fall in love. It wasn't Tunguska, nor Memento Mori... it was Paper Hearts. Since the moment I watches that ep I became an X-phile, a mulderist and a DDfan (also a shipper, but that is slipping away...). I consider Mulder my hero, my only hero, not for his non-existen perfection, but for the little things that made him Mulder: oral fixation, charm, sunflower seeds, dirty apartment, fish, pornography, wit, his jokes, baseball/basketball lover... David Duchovny made a so realistic character that I can't help but think sometimes he is for real. Mulder is the ultimate hero and the best fictional character ever!! Don't even star with me if aI have to speak about the "new guy"... To my discontent, this whole 8th season story has made me to lose my love for Chris Carter and Gillian Anderson, who have had so little respect for Mulder & David, that they give me no other option but to say... NO MULDER, NO ME!!!!!!! I LOVE so much DD and Mulder... I don't know what i'll do if Evil Carter decides finally to kill MY Mulder... I wouldn't ever forgive him... aside from sinking with tears the teatre/house where I'd be. *sigh* Thanks for the support guys!!!!!

Comments: I could not have possibly expressed my thoughts more eloquently than you have already done. As a realistic fan, I did not hang onto any hope that tptb would allow their cash cow out to pasture just because DD would not come back to the show full time. However, I do find it utterly distasteful, petty and plain mean of CC and company to treat Mulder's character in such a shoddy manner; belittling THE core character. Mulder and his passion, conviction and integrity in the face of EVERYTHING is the alpha and omega of the show - it permeates every aspect and nuance. I wish CC and GA luck in trying to breathe 'new' life into TXF, but without Mulder it'll be more like a unraveling sock puppet show instead of Shakespeare.

Comments: I have been at a loss to express fully my disappointment with the shoddy treatment Mulder and David Duchovny have been given recently by Mr. Chris "it's all about the scary stories" Carter and Ms. Gillian "watch me emote" Anderson, but your site's message captures it beautifully! I *had* hoped those in charge would have the decency and sense to treat Mulder with the respect he deserves and to give the many fans who have come this far only because of David Duchovny's portrayal of Mulder some kind of payoff, but based on recent comments, I seem to have given them too much credit. I will watch the Mulder eps in Season 7-1/2, but that's it ... if they don't consider me a fan worth keeping, then they don't need me, do they?

Comments: I've loved The X-Files from the beginning - and from early on, it's been The Mulder Story for me. Mulder is the heart of TXF. As much as TPTB would like me to believe "it's about the stories" or "it's scary" - the show has been about people, Mulder and Scully - and how all these machinations affect them. The mytharc is about Mulder. The FBI division called "The X-Files" is Mulder's. So, the spin that's being put on Season 8 of TXF, the "replacement of Mulder" (which used to be called "the search for Mulder"), has been more than disappointing. I was ready to give this season a chance - but the EW article soured me on the prospect. I fully support the X-Philes for Mulder Movement.

Comments: After reading the Entertainment Weekly article, and the recent remarks by Chris Carter and Gillian Anderson, I have come to the conclusion that the only person involved with the show who truly cares about it is David Duchovny. He once said "It's time to move on. I wish we all would". So Fox, 1013 and Chris Carter: Please listen to David. He's a smart and perceptive man. Please let season 8 be the last. Please treat Fox Mulder, the heart and soul of the X-files, with respect in this final season. Please treat the man who has brought him to life, who has become the actor that I judge all other actors' performances against, David Duchovny, with even more respect. You owe it to him. Please do not try and ram the Doggett character and Robert Patrick down our throats. He will be fought off with more force when you do this than we would have used if you had allowed us to gradually make up our own minds about him. I won't be watching the Mulderless episodes. And if Mulder and David Duchovny are not treated with the respect they deserve, I won't be watching another episode ever.

Comments: Mulder, his quest, and his search for 'The Truth' IS the X-Files. Scully is a critical piece to the puzzle, as she has offered support, her expertise, and when written half-way decently by the show's writer's, her respectful friendship. I am open-minded and willing to give the X-Files a shot if Duchovny (and hence, Mulder) are not in every episode. However, if Chris Carter and crew disrespect the character of Mulder, and the dedication that David Duchovny has shown to the X-Files over the years, then I am finished with the show. Frankly, the comments of cast and crew recently suggest that they are willing to trod over Mulder's dead body to attempt to create a new hit show -- X-Files: The Next Generation. IT WON'T WORK WITH ME! DD is Mulder. Mulder is the X-Files. No DD, No X-Files for me.

Comments: I've been watching XF almost since the beginning, and from the beginning, what drew me to the show was Mulder and David Duchovny. Mulder is the most interesting and unique characters to ever grace the small screen. Yeah, he's a little flaky, but he's also honest and courageous, intelligent and snarky, dedicated and tenacious. He is fiercely loyal to those he considers friends, and doggedly determined to bring down those who he believes are conspiring to destroy Earth. It's been a pleasure watching this character grow and change throughout the last seven years. Please respect the character and the actor who so wonderfully brings him to life. Mulder is too special to be forgotten.

Comments: Hi, Fabulous site you've got here! I'm so glad I found it. I completely agree with everything you are saying. David Duchovny is the life of the show - without him, what else is there? The Scully and Doggett show...hm, I think I could find something better to do on a Sunday night. Like my laundry. I don't want a skeptic-turned-believer (gee, it only took seven years - about 2555 days - of the evidence being right in front of her) and I don't want a "masculine", "protective" partner to look out for Scully as she bravely rushes around the country in search of her long lost Mulder. Please. Let the show have some dignity, and allow it to retain at least SOME of its originality before the end. And CC - thanks for wrapping up those pesky Mulder storylines before neatly tossing him out into the vacuum of space. Why didn't you just turn *him* to starlight, too? It's been a great ride, but my reason for watching is no longer going to be around much. Any more snide comments about DD, and I won't be tuning it at all this year.
