How we met...
...
we met back in 2001.  I was sort of dating Mook back then and we ran into Jason in a parking lot in the South Side (PGH, PA).  He was drinking with a bunch of his friends.  I walked up to them and jokingly said, "Why don't any of you guys drive nice cars like this?" pointing at an old blue muscle car.  Jason stands up and claims it is his, and I don't believe him at all.  All these graffiti kids were losers and didn't drive so why would I think he did? So he says, "It is my car. Here's the keys!" and he dangled them in front of my face. I still didn't believe him until he actually stuck the key in the door to unlock it.  Embarrassed, I left.  Over the course of a few months, we ran into each other now and again;  often at random parties where Mook would leave me all by myself and Jason would end up sitting and talking to me to keep me company.  Eventually Mook and I went our separate ways, and I started hanging out with Jason more and more.    I never ever pictured myself dating him. He's not my type at all and at the time, I was still sorta seeing someone else. But after a while, he started to grow on me. He was one of the sweetest boys I had ever met. He was a "nice guy" which I definitely wasn't used to. So on February 3rd, 2002, I finally decided to give it a try.  And it was the best decision I ever made. He is sweet and nice and spoiled me with love and gifts. I couldn't ask for more.  After about a month or so, I moved into his mom's house. And the beginning of June, we moved into our first apartment in Arlington (PGH, PA).  We are back at his mom's now to save money and are as happy as ever! Who knows what the future has in store...

Our weekend getaway...
...we left early Friday morning for Louisville with our friends, Frank and Jenni.  After a long drive, we finally arrived at the hotel where they decided not to let us into our room for two hours while we stood in the blazing sun.  Frank and Jenni went to the fest that day while we decided to ride our bikes and go site-seeing.  We visited the skatepark, the convention center, and some small shops. We met back up with them later in the day and caught the Elliott set from afar.  Later that night, there was a huge party right outside our room which was eventually broken up by the police and "McNuggah". Bands got arrested and there were people jumping off balconies. Craziness.
The next day, we went to the fest.  We got to see some great bands like With Honor, Terror, XThrowdownX, Black Widows, Atreyu, Hatebreed, and Andrew W.K. That night, we drove around, ate at Burritos as Big as Your Head, and spent the night telling stories.  Sunday, Frank and Jenni went to the show without us again and we rode our bikes out to the Hot Rod Nationals Car Show.  We spent a couple ours there then rode all the way back to catch Cave In from afar who played two old songs and blew me away.  Then we left to come home...
...I can honestly say that my heart is in Louisville. I'd love to live there one day...its a beautiful city.
