timebomb vs. redemption - split mcd - war.ds
Two great Italian bands teaming up on one record. Timebomb starts off with pure metal onslaught. Three songs, as a follow up on their great record on Genet records earlier this year. This band plays a good blend of hardcore and metal. when I say metal you should think of slick and chopping guitar parts, a lot of double bass drums and most of the time, mid tempo style music, but still hardcore (Earth Crisis?) influenced. Redemption also does a great job on this record. The female vocal parts add something extra to their music. In general Redemption sound more extreme than Timebomb. Both bands are a perfect combination on this record. Kids who are into Timebomb will also like Redemption. Good record by any means. (Jean Paul Frijns)
