VALUE OF STRENGTH #6

This is definitely something special. After the singing of birds and the thunder in the intro, no one can stop the Roma Straight Edge Legion. With these 4 songs, which actually have to be seen as 4 consecutive days, they put down something which is really great. To me this sounds really original, so I'm not able to draw any comparisons. I'll try to use some catchwords to
describe the music from these Italians instead: explosive, metal, inflaming, powerful, in your face and intelligent. I can also mention that there are two singers in this band. One of them is female. This girl has a really great voice which reminds me sometimes of a gothic metal band with female, fairylike, carrying away vocals. But I'm wondering if she's a permanent member
of the band, because she hasn't got her own thanklist. I really hope she is, because she really contributes something extra to the sound of this band. (Erik Jacobs)

Kicks ass! More European metal than just destroys everything in its path. It comes complete with all the important components for a complete metal kit. Lots of double bass, dive bombs and though ass vocals. Good stuff from the Roma Straight Edge Legion.

HEARTATTACK #22
redemption - until the next day - war.ds
Heavy Italian hardcore that is metallic and rough most of the time, while occasionally sliding into a moody melodic and sort of haunting feel. The heavier parts could be compared to Catharsis, with barked and grunted male vocals dominating the vocal duties. They also have female vocals which are excellent and add a nice feel to the more moody parts. this is not a long CD (only 4 songs), but it still an impressive record. (Adam Brandt)
