Description:

Attitude Check:
Sango is an amazingly very strong person; she's seen her comrades slaughtered, her village massacred and her brother kill hundreds of innocent people. But despite all this she refuses to give up and continues to be a kind person. Working through her sadness Sango offers help to those in need and wont stop her quest until her people are avenged and her brother is well again.

An intelligent person Sango isn't the type to just jump into something without a thought InuYasha but at the same time she isn't the type to run out on a fight or back down either. The demon slayer has feelings for Miroku, that much is obvious by how annoyed she gets when he flirts with other girls...however Sango has a lot of self respect and just because she cares for the monk doesn't mean he gets away with groping her!

Mirror:
Sango is in her later teen years. Her eyes are a very dark brown and she wears a little pink eye shadow over them. She has dark brown almost black hair that is kept in a loose ponytail that ends at her mid back, except when she fighting then her hair is held back in a high tight ponytail.

When not fighting Sango wears a pink loose long sleeve shirt with a darker pink strip on the end. Her skirt is long and goes to about the ankles; it also has the pink trim on the end. To finish it off the demon slayer wears brown sandals and a blue sack is tied around her neck while the Hiraikotsu rests on her back. Under this she still wears her demon slayers uniform.

Sango’s demon slayer uniform is tight and black with pink armor on her shoulders, elbows, knees and pelvis. The sleeves are long and cover part of her hand. Near the collar there are gold strips. To protect herself from her own poison powder Sango sometimes wears an iron mask over part of her face. Around her waist the woman wears a red sash that holds her sword at her side. Black boots completes Sango’s outfit.

Return to the Past:
Sango was born into a village of demon exterminators/slayers. Her father was the chief of these noble people. Shortly after her brother Kohaku was born Sango’s mother died (it never really mentions her so yeah <.<) Like many other people in her village Sango grew up with the plan to become a demon slayer. She was good. Very good. In fact when Sango did become a demon slayer she was the best of her village.

But Sango’s brother did not follow into the footsteps of his sister so easily, he was a kind gentle boy and even though he didn’t admit it he was afraid of becoming a demon slayer. However being the loving sister she is/was Sango assured him that she had also been scared...all demon slayer were but their numbers gave them strength and courage. Little did Sango know that those numbers would soon be wiped out?

While away on a mission to slay a powerful spider demon Naraku sent a hoard of demons to slaughter the people of her defenseless village. But that wasn’t enough for the evil half demon. The entire mission had all been a set up and after the demon was successfully destroyed the villagers attacked them! Surprised and suddenly overwhelmed many of the slayers were injured...but that wasn’t all. Naraku somehow managed to control Kohaku and with horror Sango watched as her own brother cut down and killed her father and their comrades. Confused and upset the girl tried to reason with her brother but it was in vain. Using his kusra kama Kohaku struck Sango in the back. What happened next was a blur as she fell under an assault of arrows that struck Kohaku…then the world went black.

When the demon slayer next awoke she was in the home of a kind man-really Naraku. He told Sango a lie of how a half demon named InuYasha was to blame and after giving her a jewel shard to ease the pain in her body he sent a demon puppet in the baboon fur, who he said was his trusted assistant Naraku, and sent Sango out to fight Inuyasha. While traveling Sango felt great pain even with the jewel shard in her back but the demon slayer refused to die until she got revenge.

And when she found Inuyasha that was just what the brown-eyed woman planned to do. Knowing that Naraku was using Sango, and because Kagome told him he couldn’t the half demon was unable to fight back against the vengeful demon slayer. It seemed like there could be no solution without someone dying...until Sango used her poison powder.

Thinking quickly Inuyasha covered his nose and grabbed Sango’s mask, ripping it off so that she to was in danger of being poisoned. But before anything could happen to her the dog demon grabbed Sango and jumped out of the mist, effectively saving her. But by now Sango was weak and tired...she’d lost much blood in the fight and even with the jewel shard she collapsed. When Sango again awoke Inuyasha, Kagome and Miroku explained to her that she had been deceived and Naraku was the real enemy. It took some persuading but eventually the demon slayer agreed and joined the InuYasha gang.

But Sango’s suffering was far from over. During her journeys with the Inu-gang she encountered her brother Kohaku who had been brought back to life by Naraku using a jewel shard in his back. To add to this the evil half demon wiped Kohaku’s memory so he didn’t even know who Sango was! Her brother had become a killing machine used by Naraku... He'd slaughtered whole villages.

In her heart though Sango knew the good hearted boy that was her brother was still inside of him somewhere...Despite her pain what happened to Kohaku only fueled Sango’s anger and her thirst for revenge against Naraku. She continues on her quest to this very day.
