Corporate Profile: Organizational Structure Overview
In January 1999, Express Software reinvented its core structure,
updating its vision and its fundamental approach to business
to better meet customer needs in the new Internet era. The
company's organizational structure will continue to change in
the coming months as various groups align themselves in
response to Express Software's new direction. This page will
be updated as further details become available.
Express Software is divided into the following main groups:
- Business and Enterprise
- Consumer DeskPro
- Business Productivity
- Developer
- Express Research
Right now, all the above departments are run by Joseph
Cosentino. The Business and Enterprise Division will focus on
the information technology needs of large organizations and
development of the DeskPro product line.
The Consumer DeskPro Division will work on improving the
DeskPro platform for the end user.
The Business Productivity Group will focus on meeting the
needs of the "knowledge worker," defined as the worker who
constantly needs access to data to accomplish his or her job.
This will also focus on products that include:
- Express Document
- Express Screenplay
The Developer Group will focus on products and services for
the developer customer. Products include:
- Easy Basic
- Easy C++
- Express Website Creator
Express Research works to convert problems into tangible
solutions that Express Software developers can incorporate
into products to meet customers' needs and enhance their lives.
