A
popular, but messy method of execution, because of the sensations
you feel before you die. The victim is staked to the
ground, unable to move, with something like a spit placed over
them. A small incision is made in the center of their belly
(but
large enough for the hand of the executioner to reach in and
grab the intestines). This must be done carefully, so as not
to
destroy any organs that might cause a quicker death. Once in
hand, a small part of the victims entrails will be hooked
to the
rotating pole, which is then slowly turned until all of their
viscera is wrapped around it. The victim lives through most
of this
process.
In Japan it is known as Hari Kari, which simply means belly
cutting.
