Chapter Eight:Empty Room


sitting in the corner. eyes wide. staring out the window. searching for the truth. the trees swaying in the wind. a bird flys by . eyes wide oopen but closed to reality. she cannot see the truth. pink flip flops walking through life, but always ending up in the same place. walking away only to come back to her corner. to once again look out that window searching for the truth but it is inver found. say something to me and i will forget it by tomorrow. memory is no use. serching eyes wide open. looking for something real. tell me a lie and i will not know it tomorrow. but look into my eyes, and i will remember you forever. one day she will escape from her corner. she will walk away, and be gone for all eternity. no one will know the truth. you can look for a lifetime and never know whats real. she just sits in the corner and looks once again. for freedom and truth and a life yet to come. a life that has been taken from her. she wakes up in the morning gooing back to her corner and her daily rituals. continues sitting and staring and dozing off. never sleeps and never eats. simply looks around , like part of her is missing. like shes looking for herself, never to be found. happy on the outside but angry and afraid on the inside. afraid of knowing the truth yet afraid of living without it. eyes wide open. claiming she wants to know it but with every blink the truth becomes clearer, and the clearer it gets th e less she wants to know. the more you learn th eless you'll want to know. open minded but locked away, and shut up inside a room. a room witout a window is no better than a key to your heart and no one to turn it. she looks out her window and believes what she wants. people come and people go, but her window remains closed. she will never et to walk away. her legs have been amputated as well as her thoughts. cut off from the rest of the world. stuck in a room. never to be let out. controlled by others. eyes wide open, seeking the truth. never to be found..
