NURSERY

I spent my nursery at a school located inside the area of St. Thomas of Villanova Parish Church (Miagao Church).  It is at the back of the convent of the church.  Some of our teachers there were nuns and some are not.  I learned simple things their like counting and the alphabet..  Unfortunately I forgot the name of the school but surely, there's a word St. Thomas (St. Thomas Kinder School).  And that school doesn't exist anymore nowadays maybe it was closed already due to the rise of some prep schools. Poor them!

PRE-ELEMENTARY AND ELEMENTARY

Because my previous school is up to nursery class only, we (includes my other classmates) transferred to another school for pre-elem.  And this school is the MIAGAO CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OR MCES.  It is a public school located within the town proper of Miagao. It is the best school in Miagao and one of the best school in the district and even in the province.  The students here are very competent and can reach up to national level in contests.  My brothers and my cousins and even my lolos and lolas studied/ studying here also.  They said that it was built during the American colonization years.

            Pre-elemetary

I spend my Kinder 1 & 2 years in this school.  It was really fun. I always join in presentations especially dancing during Kinder Day, UN Celebration, and  Linggo ng Wika.  I also leaned their about basic things in Science, English, Filipino and Math.  During our dance drama presentation of The Sleeping Beauty on our graduation in Kinder 2, I played the role of the messenger who announced the birth of the princess (Sleeping Beauty).  And on our graduation, I was on rank 5.  And I'm so proud of it.

            Elementary

After pre-elem, I didn't transfer to another school because  elementary education is offered also here.  I studied here from grade 1up to grade6.  The school has Special Science Class program also.  But on our time, it started only in grade 4 and we our batch is the third batch of the SSC program.  We need to get an entrance test in order to be in the SSC.  And they will only select 35 to 40 students (35 on our batch).  Research and Computer Education was the two subject added on our class.  And that time, only in our school where Com. Ed is taught in the whole Miagao, even the high schools don't have that. On our grade 6, we already made an investigatory project and it was school.  And on the previous years, the SSC  is offered already in grade3.  Each grade level here has 8 sections (including the SSC classes).  I miss many things in this school especially the Division Achievement Test, Regional Achievement Test and National Achievement Test and other test given during evaluations.  The teacher will select only the top 30 students to get the test in order to get high results.  And luckily, our school is always on the top during achievement tests and evaluations.  The other thing i really miss is when we clean our room and the corridors.  We need to clean hardly when there are evaluations.  And every morning before class and every afternoon after class, we need to clean and water the plants in the assigned garden to us. We used not pails but "galunan" (only in grade5 and grade6 where we used pails).  We need to wait for the very long line on the faucet (pro kis-a ka dukdukanay na lang ang iban kag ga pauna-una dasuk sang galunan).  And during the day when we are cleaners, we need to bring flowers. On my lower years year, I also used to join dance presentations during Un Celebration, Linggo ng Wika, Nutrititon Month Celebration and Elementary Day.  I also miss our Agriculture class where we plant plants and our Industrial Arts class where we made projects lake wooden vase.  Since kinder, the school has changed principal several times.  And one of the best principal is Mr. Primitivo Gayanilo.  he's so freindly to us students and we are always welcome in his office. And one thing funny about studying in public schools is when your that smart, you will be forever in section 1 and your classmates since grade1 will be your classmates until grade6. Every grading period, I'm always on the top 10.  In grade5, I top the whole class and I was really happy to be the first honor.  But in grade6, since the first grading until the 3rd grading, I was in rank 7 and I graduated in this school proudly with honors( rank 9).

 -That ends my elementary life.-

HIGH SCHOOL

After my wonderful life in MCES, I then moved to ILOILO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL-SPECIAL SCIENCE CLASS for my high school.  It is one of the most competent school in the province and maybe in the Philippines.  It is acknowledge by some international organizations.  SSC is one of the eight programs establishes by Dr. Riza S. Amaguin, when she was still the principal of  INHS.  And some and maybe  graduates of SSC are also competent in college and became professional citizens.

My first year was already wonderful.   My section then was Procyon.  Fist, I was so shy because I don't know all of them but as the days passed by, I started to become talkative and noisy.  My classmates were so cool and fun to be with.  We're just one big happy family and our adviser, Ma'am Heide, is like a mother to us. But sometimes, there were also quarrels among us. My first friends there were Lcid, Julius and Peter and Peter became my best friend until I became close with Arlan and we also became best friends.  And Peter, Arlan and I has misunderstandings and as I cam remember, it lasted for a month or two but we're OK already.   And my other best friend is Simon and we go home together always.  When there are contests between the sections in first year, our section always win (except in the Drama workshop) and I'm so proud of that.  And our sport??,, volleyball. We always play after class until 7:30 to 8:00PM I think and even inside our classroom.  And we always hang out at SM City when there's no class.

In second year, my section was Pegasus and our adviser was Ma'am Aries.  Some of my classmates in Procyon were also my classmates here including Peter and Arlan. It was also fun there. My classmates were also fun to be with even though at first we're not that closed. But as days passed by (again) we became friends,  Mark Collin was my first best friend in Pegasus. He's known for his corny jokes. Then, Peter, Arlan, Mark and I became best friends.  Lately, Peter and Arlan and I, has a misunderstanding again.  And I got closed to best friends since first year Marc Laurence and Julius (Makmak and Totit ah).  They're also fun to be with.  We always joke and laugh each other.  My unforgettable moments in Pegasus were, first: when we went to Passi to shoot our project and to have an outing.  There we go swimming in a resort owned by Rhaizza's relatives. Second: our preparation for the Florante and Laura contest between the two other sections.  I can say the preparation was so crucial but it's fun and luckily we won.  Sometimes, after class, Gold, Collin, Simon, Leolyn and I go to JD Bakeshop or Mcdo in the Atrium to eat (obviously) and talk a lot of thingsAnd the year ends and maybe all of us were sad that some of us will not be classmates anymore in third year.

In third year, I'm under the Silver banner.  I don't have close friends except for Jonah, Gold, Sydney and Simon and my classmate again Aika as well, who is already my close friend since first year. But as the days passed by again (for the third time), I became closed to others.  The start of the school year was good for us.  We got the second place in the Dance Clash during the Acquaintance Party.  And everyday, we always have fun during class especially the throwing of punch lines.  Last sembreak, the whole third year went on a tour in Luzon for seven days and it was really fun. And I guess it's the most awaited event for every SSC student.  And what we are preparing for right now?? the JS Prom in February.  And the whole third year are already busy practicing  cotillion and hunting promdates. Well, the year has not ended yet so there's more to come. I guess so!!=D

And I hope that my senior life will also be great. I will be either in Diamond, Sapphire or Amethyst.  And before I forgot, what makes my high school life complete is I, being late in class since first year but not always and the cramming in making and submitting projects (like this one) and cramming for  quizzes and exams!!! And also having crushes and getting into serious relationships.  Hope that "HIGH SCHOOL never ends"!!!

COLLEGE

Either in Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, University of Santo Thomas, University of the Philippines- Manila, Philippine Merchant Marine Academy, University of San Agustin, St. Paul University-Iloilo and maybe somewhere out there.
