"They Can't Keep Me Away"
Portage, IN - Late Thursday the district court of appeals announced that the XSA would no longer be allowed to have the same person acting as President and CEO.
The case was being kept under wraps by XSA publicist Chas Pall, in conjunction with Presidents and former CEO's Phil Mulroe, Jeff King and Larry Babcock.
"This has been going on since before Jeff left us, we felt it may affect the turn out for the 2002 softball season, so we wanted to keep it quiet," Mulroe said.
In a statement released early Friday morning stated that the trio had discussed what would transpire if the court ruled against them.

The court order, which was filed after a Utah girl was spiked in the face during a play, sought out the XSA's power being divided more evenly amongest the XSA Board.
"I am thrilled to be back 'home,' the office is where I belong and I think the XSA is really headed in the right direction," said King.  "Before we just kind of floated, but now we are driving toward our goals.  It's very exciting to be a part of."
The lawsuit (third in less then a year) was the first that the XSA has lost, with crack legal staff of F.L. Bailey and Sam Waterson, of Law & Order fame.
"Is it really a loss though?  Let's think about this, Jeff is back, I am President, we didn't lose any money.  I feel this is a moral win for the XSA," stated Larry Babcock, outside the court room Thursday afternoon.  Babcock was later arrested and charged with indecent exposure after mooning a bus of nuns passing the court room.
"No Moke will, beyond a shadow of a doubt, not be returning to the XSA.  Jeff or no Jeff, Moke is not returning!"
