Faarooq, a former star lineman for Florida State, has a storied history in the world of wrestling, first rising to the limelight as a founder of the original Nation of Domination, along with Crush and Savio Vega. After a punishing defeat by the Undertaker, Faarooq dismissed his former teammates and re-formed the Nation with his former rival, Ahmed Johnson, as well as Kama Mustafa, D-Lo Brown, and Rocky Maivia (you might have heard of him--he goes by The Rock now). The politics-ridden faction would eventually disband again, and Faarooq would take a place in the Undertaker's Ministry of Darkness as an Acolyte along with his current tag partner, Bradshaw.
