| Arctic Thunder Graphics: (150-200) They're all right...arcade type. The characters aren't that detailed and neither are their Snowmobiles. I do have to give them some kudos though, for the detailed Maps and Weather Conditions. It could be improved much more, and almost an upset for the type of graphics X-Box can create. I don't play this game for the graphics though... Control: (180-200) Extremely, Extremely, Extremely easy to pick up. They use the layout of the X-Box controller perfectly, making your hands NOT get sore after hours and hours of gameplay. A well done job with the controls. Gameplay: (170-200) Its descent. The game runs smoothly throughout the time you'll be playing it. It is pretty hectic when playing, so you wont notice a glitch (if there is a couple) half the time. Sound: (170-200) The sound is good, but could be better. People want to hear more of the rev of the engine, and the Atomic Snowball missiles, and this game leaves some of that out. You won't be paying attention to the sound most of the time...but I write reviews...I have to... Story: (um..190-200?) Win races, unlock Characters, and beat the game...that's pretty much it. Overall:(860-100) A great game, but I don't recommend buying it. As John said about Fuzion Frenzy; this is a party game that should be rented. If you're interested in doing the season, buy it, but I recommend it more for multiplayer fun... -Dan |
