The Simpsons Road Rage

The Simpsons Road Rage Graphics: (180-200) The graphics were not designed to be amazing, but give you more of that "Cartoony" feel.  The characters do look exactly how they are portrayed on the show though.  The good thing about this game is the scenery, background.  It gives you a good feel of how Springfield actually is.  While cruising around the 6 areas that you can unlock in this game, you'll notice that everything that can be broken, you can break.  This adds to the game making it more fun and fun-ny. Sound: (190-200)  This is the greatest thing about this game.  If anyone has ever bought a game based on a Cartoon, you'll know that the voices are never quite perfect.  Not true in this game, all the voices are exact. (Some sayings the characters say due tend to repeat sometimes) As far as the music, it's good, but I like to honk the horn so I don't really pay attention to that, But I know for a fact the menu music reaks of total awesomeness. Controls: (170-200)  Very easy to get used to.  You have a choice of using the Right Trigger to Accelerate or the A button.  Now I know most people think that the Right Trigger will be easier..but its not.  It hardly works, and it is really supposed to be used for sharp turns...Use the A Button, its easier.  But other than that, its the same controls as any other racing game. Gameplay: (170-200)  Pretty good for the amount of things that are happening around you.  Not many pauses at all. That's basically it. Story: (190-200)  There are 3 different things you can do in this game.  First there is Road Rage, where you have to pick up passengers and drive them to their location to earn money and unlock new characters and vehicles.  Then there is Sunday Drive, where you can ride around, pick up passengers and get to know the levels better.  Finally there is Mission Mode, where you are assigned a character and most times you will have to knock down a certain amount of objects...Most of these are easy, and if you are stuck on one mission long enough, it'll just let you go to the next level and say that you completed it (pretty cool). Overall: (900-1000)  A pretty good game.  Yes, some may say it is a Rip off of Crazy Taxi..and it is, but that doesn't take away the fun factor of this game.  Some say that it is a rent a game, because its too short and gets boring after a while...Well that's your opinion, and if you want to see if you like it..then rent it, its your choice. -Dan
