here's a message i received by a person i know, really good points about losers, popularity, and other things i think what really true...... but then again, i could be wrong....
	I hear so many people say they don't care what people think about them.  That's really good, if that's really the case.  I try not to let stuff get to me, but i just can't handle it when i find out someone doesn't like me.  I'm really wierd that way.  I know stuff like that shouldn't bother me, but it does. What would you say defines someone as a loser?  Is it how many friends you have?  What about how close you are with the people you call friends?  I don't really have lots of friends, but the ones i do have i depend on a lot and i would seriously do anything for.  Is it how many places you get invited?  Cause, really, i don't get asked to go to all of the parties, but i usually know about them and nobody would care if i did go...  I always thought "loser" was a lable you put on somebody you didn't know very well so you had an excuse for treating somebody who was really nice like dirt, and for a reason to look down on somebdoy to make you feel better about yourself.  But if you're putting that lable on yourself, i kind of wonder if it's supposed to mean you're looking down on yourself, or you think other people look down on you.  I'm a little confused.  And you said it really works.  What is it that it's doing? I think the whole popularity thing is stupid, but i don't think that means you need to call yourself a loser.  See, that's just playing along with it.  Wherever you end up finding yourself in social ladder of high school, that has nothing to do with who you are. I don't remember saying that i thought you acted like a self proclaimed loser.  i noticed you called yourself that a lot, but like i've probably told you way too many times and you're probably getting sick of hearing me say, that is a lable,adn it has nothing to do with who you are. I should probably shut up and take my own advice here.  I think there's a word for this.  it's hypocritical.  i'm being hypocritical.  So i'll let you go before i throughly bore you to death.  If you get a chance and you feel like it, write me back and let know what you think.

				What makes a loser? Well since I'm a loser, I'll tell you what makes me a loser... -I'm not well liked. -My jokes arn't that funny. -I smell funny most of the time. -I don't play sports. -I enjoy Some classes in school (History, Literature) -I read. -I read Science Fiction -I Love cartoons. -I like old movies better than new ones. -People don't really tend to try to make friends with me. - I dont even try to leave the house. Other things that make losers... -try to be popular but they fail (Easy to pick out.) -try too hard at pretty much everything. -Make excuses for virtually everything. Misconceptions about what makes a loser... -klutzy -mumbles up words -they dont play sports (Hey, some do) -They're fat or skinny. (I've seen some pretty generic losers. -There all easy to pick out in a crowd. (Some are very hard to tell, or you think they are, but there not.) -Really smart or really dumb. As for the whole social ladder thing, I don't think I'm paying it, I'm accepting it. Of course People are gonna shun other "Nice People" Merly by their looks and what they like and/or believe in. It's just part of life. Well i hope you feel informed.... Wonka
