Like many people, I started out pro-life. Mainly because I read about how they maimed the "babies" and was all "that's so horrible!" And at the time, that was also because I wasn't thinking for myself (not to say that every pro-life person is like that... i was, is all i mean ^^). (I looked up a lot of information on this topic, so you can hardly call me "ignorant" about it...so just don't go there. XP) But the first thing that started swaying my opinion slightly was when I was reading a book called "Staying Fat For Sarah Byrnes" (it's really good, you oughta read it! ^^), and many factors I hadn't considered suddenly were revealed. Afterwards, I kept thinking about it more and more, and eventually came to as strongly pro-choice as I am today.
I am pro-choice because a fetus is not alive yet. Is it considered murder when you squash a mosquito? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that babies are insects, I'm saying that a fetus is parasetic and until it has taken a breath from the outside world, well... that's just what it is.
Regardless, if someone has sex and isn't ready for a child, would you rather that child be brought up by someone who can't take care of the kid, and join the millions of neglected and abused children? That makes no sense at all. It would be better to abort the to-be child then torture it so.

I advise you to look into sites like abortionfacts.com and find out some research before you start saying you are pro-choice. Been there, done that. Aslo, have you ever thought about the after effects of abortions? Like death, breast or cervical cancer, cervical lacerations..etc, etc. Are you implying that abortions are the only way such things can happen? Of couuuuuuurse. Or we could do into the STDs that come from having sex outside of marriage in the first place. So you're saying that people with STD's will never get married, and there is not one married person with an STD? That makes sense. (sarcasm) And, also, why would you want to have the word "Murderer" hanging over your head for the rest of your life? You wouldn't. Babies were meant to live, and that is why they are created, ALL life is sacred at any stage, from inside the womb - to near death - and it's so sad that our culture doesn't see this anymore . Oh brother.
