“Dry your tears with love.”
Somehow, that typically corny sounding phrase, is made stunningly gorgeous by X Japan’s vocals and instrumentals. Now, maybe I am going over the edge because at the time I found the translated lyrics, they were really.. true to me, and meant so much to me because of that, but I can’t tell because I really do love this song. When I was reading the lyrics along with the song, I started to cry towards the ending…. Actually, I am listening to it now and tears are striking my eyes. Which is kind of pathetic really, because then I usually don’t cry so easily (at least, not anymore). But anyways, I’m getting off topic. The music in the background is great, it complements the vocals amazingly well. And THEN, when you hear S.H.E’s singing, it just adds to the feeling that you are left with after you hear “Tears”.
I truly have no idea what they are saying, as it’s completely in Chinese and I haven’t found the translated lyrics ANYWHERE (*tear*), but the way their voices sound with the music, and the way the words just flow…. Wow. There is one part that is particularly stunning, and every time they say it, … Waaaiii this song is so gorgeous! It starts off sweet and slow, soft. (with a beautiful voice, I must say), and then works to a stronger sound… the way they sing and the music combined is so beautiful. If I am in my best mood and I start listening to this song, I guarantee that you will see tears in my eyes. Even if I haven’t listened to “Tears” right before it. Separately, the songs are touching and beautiful and practically perfect, but when you combine them, its just like, “BAM!” I don’t even know how to describe. Maybe it’s just me who feels this way, but you MUST LISTEN to these songs. The artists totally deserve the money for the records, but if you are just going to listen to one of their songs and not download the whole CD, well it’s just like a “sample”, so its more good than bad, ne? Which is why I have both of these up for download. Go! Now! Listen to them! And then buy their CD’s and worship the rest of their songs (which I intend to do as soon as I get enough money). Well, no more can be said…except for,
“But I never thought you’d trade your soul to the fates, never thought that you’d leave me alone… Dry your tears! With love!” -- “Tears”
(Me: that is so… *tries to keep from sobbing* BEAUTIFUL!! *starts crying hysterically*)
