LEAGUE NEWS
The latest news in Poolpals!
First off we have a few new additions to the Poolpals Staff.
CONGRATS to Plat1numpapi (Gil) on becoming an Admin for Poolpals. We are very excited to have Gil as the newest addition to the admin team. We know he will do an outstanding job. Wtg G!
We also would like to Congratulate some new additions to the Tourney Directors. CONGRATS and Welcome Back Bowzer69p(Danny). As many of you know Danny has been with Poolpals a very long time. We are extremely excited to have him back on the staff of pals. He is an Excellent Tourney Director. CONGRATS and Welcome Back Thuanbond. Thuanbond has also been with Poolpals a long time and we are also excited to have him back with the staff CONGRATS to Ratface. Rat is a new TD to the Staff of pals. We wish him the best of luck to him with his tourneys. Please make him feel at thome with Pals and please be patience with all the new staff.
Everyone can check who is all a member of the staff by going to the Directors page on the main page of the league. Please check that out and do NOT be afraid to ask them TD's (Tourney Directors) to make tourneys. That is what they are there for.
Many of you have been asking about the result from Boosters. The results were NO Boosted Ids for Poolpals. From that NO Boosted Id's will be allowed in the league. Thank you all for taking the time out to vote. If you have a Boosted ID in the league, please change it to a new name as soon as poosible.
We still have voting on the main page. Please go to www.myleague.com/poolpals and place your vote on TD of the month for the league. We will continue to put up different things for the members to vote on. Remember your vote counts, and we want to hear from YOU.
REMEMBER We do not allow duplicate accounts in Poolpals. Duplicates are checked once a week, any duplicate names will be kicked. If you have trouble signing up or getting an accivation key, please contact an admin and they will assist you.
Also REMEMBER Poolpals DOES NOT allow yahoo pool aimers in this league. We are currently working with a program that will help determine if members are using these yahoo pool aimers. More info on that will come in future days.
We continue to have tourneys everyday. New styles along with the orginals ones. We would love to see some of the old crowd in backspin again. Along with the new crowd.
So drop by BACKSPIN and play some tourneys and some league games. We are still looking for members to be on the staff. We prefer that members are ranked with 20 plus games and can run 2 tourneys a week. If you are interested in being on staff, send us your application.

Our Next match will be Tuesday, August 17th @ 9 pm (week 9). Pals will host MM Club @ Backspin. Please make that league feel welcome in our room.
Get to the PLC site ( www.myleague.com/plc ) and vote for our Allstar Members. We are the Western Division 1,2, and 3. PP_IwillMarryDaveMatthews (Amber), PP_Countryplayer (Lenny) and PP_laserjunky (Laser). Winners get to play in the Allstar matches this coming weekend. Voting ends on Wednesday, August 18 @ 11:59pm. So get over there and show your support.
Poolpals is still a very active league in PLC. We need more members to play in the weekend tourneys. If you are interested in helping out with PLC, please sign up at www.myleague.com/plc . Name must have pp_ infont. Example pp_XxDolphinxX.
No provisional names allowed in PLC and names must be over 1200 rating. Also must have 20 Poolpals games.

PCL - Pool Champions League
Poolpals is joining up with PCL in the next few weeks. The season starts in 2 weeks.
CONGRATS to Countryplayer (lenny) for being the Captain of PCL. He is the contact person for all games.
The sign up initals are just like for PLC. PP_league name. Please make sure you use the same names as league and yahoo. If you are interested in being a part of PCL, please get with Lenny on this information.
