If you like 70's rock a la hillbilly, then you will fall in love with the electric rednecks. formed back in 1999, the rednecks decided that the good people of illinois needed a hillbilly band that can turn a rock song into a history lesson.
This 3 piece band, dan kotheimer~accordion, rich the catfish hoffman~ snare drum, and soter nomikos~guitar, play various songs from the likes of jefferson airplane to led zeppelin to ccr. The first time we saw them perform live we signed them to our label right then and there. I remember asking guitar player, soter nomikos if he would sign a deal with us, he said, "um, yall gonna pay us?" from there on it's been history.
the rednecks have not played live for a while because they have been working vigorously on their upcoming studio cd called "1971". this web site will keep you posted!
