Okay, let me explain quickly. I don't live in Minnesota. Far from it, actually. However, half my family does live in Minnesota. I go there to visit them twice a year. You can imagine my happy surprise when I learned that They Might Be Giants would be playing no less than 3 shows in Minnesota while I was there this past summer. What more, the Borders instore that they'd be playing was to be at the Borders that is 10 minutes from my grandparents' house, that I've been to hundreds of times. HOWEVER, as luck would have it, I was being forced to go to an island on the border of Canada, 5 hours away, for a week of my trip to Minnesota. Of course, this was the week when TMBG would be there.
So this really sucked, to say the least. However, my aunt (who is quite awesome, if I do say so myself), who also lives in New York, happened to be coming to Minnesota at the same time, and she would not be going to Canada that week. So she went to the instore for me, took a few pictures, and got me an autograph (ironically my only TMBG autograph in which flans wrote my name). Thanks to her, you can see these things below.
