in the beginning...

Me, during my cute stage (and before I had insomnia). I was 2 months old. <boring_biography>

I was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh on September 21, 1980. Contrary to the rumors some of my friends might circulate, my family did not get smuggled into the country on some cargo ship. We flew. To Tallahassee, FL, where my dad worked on his Ph.D (go seminoles!). And I am a citizen of the U.S.

I'm a fairly quiet and shy person in general. I don't really start or carry any long conversations. I don't think I have it in me to do such a thing, but only time will tell. I do "talk" a lot on these pages, but that's simply because it's easier to type things out. My brain doesn't function normally (if you know me in real life you've already come to that conclusion). However, I was a lot more "outgoing" as a child.

I'm a partially bad kid. My morals haven't always been in check (they still aren't). Basically, I had thievish tendencies from a young age. But I've basically stopped doing anything illegal, so I guess I'm a better person for it? I need to make a rogue on Everquest one of these days. Oh, and I had a short interest in fire ;)

I used to read a lot before I moved to Illinois (before '95). I wasn't soaking up classics and "good" literature, but I read whatever was fun. I was into Michael Crichton, John Grisham, and Anne Rice, and other miscellaneous books. And I was really into The Boxcar Children series for a while. Not sure why. I was just an average kid, I guess.

The best memories (not that I ever really reminisce) of my childhood are when I lived in Millhopper Village in Gainesville, FL. This was between '90 - '92, I think. Millhopper Village was made up of townhouses and apartments. There were woods in the back and a creek running throughout a lot of the woods. I was friends with a lot of kids there, and even a few in or almost in high school. Some of us wood go into the woods occasionally. Or ride bikes wherever. Or hang out at each other's apartments playing videogames. Or whatever. It was always fun. Then we built a house in Summer Creek. The neighborhood sucked, because I didn't have any friends there. That's where I started going online a lot. And got into RPG's and MUD's. And then we moved to Illinois.

Shall I continue?
