First: you will need one open ring and six closed. Join them together, but you don't need to lay it flat.

Second: You will make a chain adding one open link and three closed to three of the rings, and continuing this until you have a desired length.

Third: Now lay this flat with all the rings facing the right direction, as shown.

Fourth: First you will need to have one open ring and two closed rings, make sure you when you weave the open ring that it passes through four of the rings already in the chain, and then add your two additional closed rings.

Fifth: After that is done you neeed another open ring to go through the three rings on the left and two on the right and add closed ring to complete the 6, repeat this step until the tow is finished.

Sixth: Start on step 4 again until you reach the desired width.
