for
Site Design Concepts

This form is intended as a preliminary focus tool to high-light important elements for developing the essentials of your unique web site.

The catagories outline the order of topics that will need consideration in the process of working up the facets of your web design.

Although it isn't neccessary to complete any part of this form, the degree to which you are able to provide in advance your desired parameters for the finished product will affect ease of continuing consultation.

If you care to give any feedback on these questions, please write them into the form itself.

It will probably be easiest initially to print out a blank copy to doodle with off-line.

This information will be kept strictly and completely confidential. It will not be used in any other way than directly in the development of your current website project.

Considerations on the Functions and Forms of Your Site

#1. Who are you expecting to interest with this presentation? Create your target audience profile.

#2. What would you like to be the first impression of a viewer seeing your site?

#3. What essential message(s) do you wish to communicate?

#4. From your point of view, what will be their ideal reaction to your communication?

#5. How might your audience have found your page?

#6. Describe any sites that would have a strong relationship with yours. The ones that you would like to be connected with or which you admire (or not). Style and character.

#7. Can you envision any structural or textual elements that could contribute to your desired first impression (as in #2 above).

#8. Do you have a particular color scheme or general style such as bold/bright or soft/muted that you would like to employ?

#9. How do you see the general layout in terms such as full/rich or sparse/formal or flowing/irregular etc.?

#10. Anything else or other that comes to mind as worth consideration?
