Cricket is a game,

Called so unpredictable

A bowler to hit a century,

It can also enable….

Batsmen bowl over

Bowler scores a ton,

As amazing a match could be

Filled with a whole lot of fun .

Umpires seem confused,

Spectators rather bemused,

The scorers amazed

And the onlookers crazed.

This game can be such a mess,

I have to honestly confess.

But without this game’s craze……

Sport’s attraction will surely faze…!!

Such great this cricket is,

I cannot a ball of a match miss,

Glued to the T.V. set I sit

Whenever I see a boundary hit……!

Watch ball by ball

With expert comments,

With hoarse voice of Holding,

And Boycott’s Yorkshire Pudding……

Speaking about commentators,

Boycott leads my list,

Though Holding is hoarse,

His comments can never be missed

Oh I salute to the game’s inventor,

What possibly to him can we attribute……

Keep the game at its truest
