- I have not updated my page for ages as II was really busy studying in the
university. You see, I have not updated the page since the Semester began in
October. Now the Semester has ended. I can now have some time to review what I
have been doing and write something about my life. Actually I have almost
forgotten the writings I have put here online. It’s until some friends
told me that they enjoyed reading my journals a lot that I had the idea of
writing further. Well, I don’t have the habit of keeping a dairy. So I
often doubt if I should use the word “journal” which means
publication on a daily basis. But whatever you call these pieces of writing, I
hope you would have fun reading them and give me some response if possible.

September 2004 - Well, added some more files including more comments on COP 2004, and
the stupidity of bureaucracy in Germany.

September 2004 - How time flies! It’s almost a month since I last updated my
journals. I just think, if I do not update the page today, people won’t
know I still survive. I settled down in Erfurt, Germany finally and got acquainted to quite
a number of friends here. Read my journals and see what happened during the
month!
23 August 2004 - Two months ago when
I was still in Hong Kong, I chatted with Vincent Chen and thought about meeting
together somewhere in Germany, as we both would be supposed to be in Germany
taking summer courses, though in two different cities. The idea was great and I
did indeed call him and send him an SMS in Bremen, but I did not get any reply before
22 August 2004 (SUN). It turned out that I had to
stay the whole day in my host family writing journals. Well, it was actually my
first time to have written so many Chinese words in a single day. I think I could
have written more, if I were not so tired. Hey, 9 articles a day and I had my
own German homework and revision.
